Not going to endorse it yet since 10 hours in and I still can't find the leningrast key for the blacksmith in majula anywhere at all. The old merchant lady in fallen giant forest doesn't have the key anymore. 💀
Decent mod, Though starting as a hexer basically made everything supremely easy to destroy since I already was buffed from the armour. Boss weapons & such just being able to be purchased was a little strange too, I basically have no use for all these boss souls I have.
The worst part was the last boss fight, just 2 smelter demons for the sake of difficulty, but it doesn't make sense & they just feel like not the right choice, especially after you had to just fight Watcher/Defender right before. Why another 2 boss boss fight. The Nashandra fight is also weird, Especially since killing that one doesnt effect the one in the castle what so ever.
The music changes were okay, Ill say most of the songs were downgrade & didnt fit with Dark Souls, but they were nice since I've not heard of most. The level up sound not being there is really weird, that one change I actually hated, lol.
Id definitely recommend the mod to DS2 fans who want a new-ish experience. I'd say overall it's much easier than base game DS2, but still fun.
Hello, I would like to thank you for creating this mod, it is very fun, it is one of my favorites. However, recently, I have been playing your mod, and when I tried to access the Lost Bastille map through the Forest of Fallen Giants, the game goes into infinite load. Then I tried to access the aforementioned map through Nobody's Wharf, but it wasn't possible either, when trying to access the boss room, the character is frozen in the fog, I could fix it as soon as possible, your mod is too good to be left in an unplayable state.
I did a quick test, there are other locations that when trying to access them via the bonfire the game has infinite loading: Undead Purgatory, Harvest Valley, there must be others that are bugged, I remember that the old version wasn't like that.
