In the sfx folder, they are broken up into a main sfx binder and then one for each map to be loaded in/out via connect collision. So if you want an sfx to appear everywhere, make sure it's in the sfx-common. There's also one binder for the effects (what you edit in this program) and one with resources for each effect (such as textures and models for firebombs, etc.) There is a good guide on the souls modding wiki for FXR3 editing and what each Effect and Action does therein. Also, it helps to turn on the ActionID's in the Useful Info tab.
Is there any documentation on what effect each .fxr file corresponds to (ie. Lightning Blade/Messages)? I'm not about to trial-and-error almost 2,000 files to find out myself. Thanks.
