Really getting frustrated, the firs time I installed this mod while I was playing vanilla was fine, playing with The Convergence was fine, but with Cinders, this mod just refuses to work properly. My first time booting up Cinders with this mod worked fine, played like usual, and then the next day the game refuses to do anything other than regular windowed mode, and keeping the game above 60fps doesn't work properly anymore either. I uninstalled and re-installed DS3 along with Cinders and Proper PC Experience, all was working well again, and then the next day I come back and the same issue, only going in windowed mode and going above 60FPS seems to cause a lot of screen tearing, and I'm forced to go back to 60fps. The FPS really isn't a big deal, but the windowed mode is annoying me a lot, and I have no idea what to do to get it to go back to windowed full-screen
Hey man, is there any way to turn off G-sync which requires fullscreen. I'm playing on ultrawide and i have found a fix to remove the annoying black bars which requires me to play on windowed. Is there any way around this?
This mod works by putting itself into the DX11 pipeline. By using DXVK, the game is actually using a Vulkan pipeline. ReShade does something similar and you can get it to work with this mod by having ReShade named "dxgi.dll" instead of "d3d11.dll" - maybe something similar is possible with DXVK? If that doesn't work, then you're unfortunately out of luck. Sorry.
anyone notices bad stuttering after ~25min of gameplay. This is the only mod i am using that alter the setting and related to performance, other mods are simple gameplay changes. I have powerful system (32GB RAM, 4090 GPU, 5900X CPU, NVME SSD, 3440x1440 @144Hz monitor). I am capping the FPS to 110 via "d3d11_fps.ini".
Yeah engine seems to die after about 30 minutes of playing, extremely annoying stuttering. I'm on a 4080 i7-14700k 64 gigs of ram. no clue how to solve it but that's just fromsoft pc ports
Are you still experiencing this issue? I had this issue come up when i decided to play through Dark Souls 3 again. You can fix this by opening the task manager while running the game, right click on Dark Souls and click "Go to Details". Right click on Darks Souls once again and click "Set Affinity". uncheck the CPU 0 and save. Your problem will be fixed, unfortunately you will have to do this every time you run the game but the stuttering and lag will be completely gone! Hope this helps!!
You can use a free program "Process Lasso" and you can change settings that will automatically apply every time you run the game. The Program runs in the system tray and it's very speedy
I dont fully understand how can I change to 100fps cap . The main file works but when I add the secondary file and put ''100'' it doesnt change anything

It's not like this mod can add Nvidia Reflex like Special K.
how do you add Nvidia Reflex with it ?
