Hi, I'm not sure if you are still working on this. Thanks for your mod.But I met some problems. When I use DSMapStudio to merge the CSV files, it shows me "CSV has wrong number of values " I tested all the CSVs downloaded form this mod, they all show that message. I believe I follow the right steps, because I successfully merged another mod with its CSV. By the way, I think the Data0.dbt file works as expected.I use modengine to override game files instead of unpacking them by UXM.
Hope you can take a look at these CSV files.I'm not a native English speaker, so please ignore some spelling and grammatical mistakes.
Hi, why is not workin for me? Download the file, drag and drop to game folder where the exe file is at, replacing the OG Data0.bdt and still nothin, I tried the param config, setting them to false and I also put he modded Data0.bdt on mod folder and still nothing. My version is the 1.15.2, hope you guys can help, just wanna try some cool armor but is to heavy to play with it:(
Hi, this mod like many others is about Data0.dbt file ... There is a way for me to use differents mods that modifies this same file? Example: Life ring mod and your Free Upgrading mod both modifies Data0.bdt file so i can't use both at the same time, one overrite the other... Do you know any solution? thanks
you need to merge them using yapped or DsMapstudio , either using csv file provided ( which is outdated im sorry ) or export the csv in either file you want use and merge it which is involving you know a bit of how yapped and dsmap work. i recommend dsmap since it easier ( not UI-firendly im afraid ) , it can show you and compare which param and field that is overwritten , you can use that to export the csv file. will i updated the csv? probably when my souls is dark again and need to puch gwin in the face.
Could you make a version that's JUST without the weight limit but keeps everything else? I'm replaying the game (for the 20th time probably lol) and I find the weight limit too limiting for trying out some cool weapons/builds I want to do. However, I still want to keep everything else because I feel like otherwise the game would just be too easy and kinda pointless to play through as I think working for the progression of going from weak to strong is a key aspect of why this game's so fun and why the combat's so satisfying. So would it be possible to do a mod for only removing weight limit?
I Could but i dont have dark sould 3 installed atm but you can use the csv OR use the instruction below. The CSV for weight should be EquipParamWeapon , EquipParamArmor and EquipParamAccessory. If you can use DSmapStudio you can customize it yourself , same param and on the right side ( the Field ) is named Weight.
How do you add the additional CSV on yapped? All the yapped I've tried either doesn't recognize the csv or doesn't work. I've even tried Yapped Honey Bear, but it says csv does not exist. Where am I supposed to put the csv files for Honey Bear to work? DSMapStudio says the csvs have wrong value when I try to import them
Yeah , the CSV is outdated sorry but here's an instruction , use DSmapstudio , open a new project , make sure in the DS3 directory you have the Original Regulation and in the Output file of the DSmapstudio is my Regulation.
Now , in the Param Editor you will see the Edited Param and the Edited Field will be Marked with green text. The easiest way is just export the Whole Param to CSV BUT if your Regulation had been modded before this you'll need to see first what was changed in your modded regulation which can be done in the First Step Above.
Let's just say that you have a modded Reg and The EquipParamWeapon had been modified , you want to use this Reg but this Reg Also modifying the EquipParamWeapon , for example The Iron Greatsword in your Modded Reg Modified the Sale Price but Mine was Modifying the Weight , in case of this you'll need to ; -- Click "EquipParamWeapon" Click iron Greatsword ( Or The ID if there is no Name on it ) Click "Edit" Click "Export CSV" - "Selected Row" - "Export to File" - "Export to File" - "Export Specific Field" - search and Click "weight" , Choose the Destination Done!
Can it be that it doesnt work with cinders? cuz i have put the .bdt file into my ds3 folder (where the exe is) and i still need souls as well as titanites at least on the free upgrades only version havent tried the other ones
Well Cinders basically an Overhaul so i dont know it will works or not but since Cinders using DS3 Mod Engine (Which is the Old one Compared to Mod Engine 2) you could follow the Instruction on DS3 Mod Engine page on how to put a mod.
