About this mod
A patch file that changes your Dark Souls 3 .exe from version 1.15.2 to 1.15.0, making it compatible with various mods.
- Permissions and credits
Installation:
1) Go to:
https://www.marcrobledo.com/RomPatcher.js/
(Should also work with any ROM patching site/software, such as Floating IPS, but these instructions are specific to this site)
2) Where it says "ROM file", click the box and select your "DarkSoulsIII.exe"
3) Where it says "Patch file", click the box and select the mod file ("DS3_downpatch_to_1.15.0.bps")
4) Click "Apply patch" to download the patched version of your game.
5) Drop the patched file into the same directory as the original game.
6) Rename the original "DarkSoulsIII.exe" to something like "DarkSoulsIII_bak.exe" so you can keep a backup in case you ever need the un-modded version. (There is also a bps patch included to restore your game to 1.15.2, in case you lose your backup)
7) Rename the patched file from "DarkSoulsIII (patched).exe" to "DarkSoulsIII.exe" so your game will read it properly.
