About this mod
One thing that's always bothered me when playing an RPG is that you beat a boss and you don't get any stronger. This mod makes a few tweaks to the experience of defeating the main bosses of Dark Souls 3 - each of the main bosses will give the player a permanent buff after you defeat them, and I buffed the boss weapon rewards.

Bonfires
Added a series of bonfires to reduce run-back times for bosses, so that you can focus on the challenge of the boss and not the effort of getting back. The distances are as short as possible while attempting to fit into the existing level design, modeled on the Stakes of Marika from Elden Ring.
- Bonfire added to High Wall of Lothric overlooking the courtyard equidistant from Vordt and the Dancer
- Bonfire added to High Wall of Lothric just outside of the Oceiros boss room
- Bonfire added to the Undead Settlement just outside the arena for the Curse Rotted Greatwood
- Bonfire added to the Road of Sacrifices at the Sorcerer's camp just before the Crystal Sage
- Bonfire added to the Cathedral of the Deep just outside the Boss Room at the top of the stairs
- Bonfire added to Catacombs of Carthus just after the ancient bridge
- Bonfire added to Irithyll of the Boreal Valley just before the Pontiff fight (left of the stairs as you approach the boss door)
- Bonfire added to Profaned Capital just before Yhorm's boss door
- Bonfire added to Lothric Castle just outside the Dragonslayer Armor boss fight

- Bonfire added to The Ringed City in the room with the dropdown to Midir

The first time that you rest at a bonfire after defeating the following bosses a message will play (Duty Fulfilled) and you'll be granted a permanent buff. These buffs are based on existing ring effects.

- Pontiff Sulyvahn - Ashen Estus Effect Boost
- Yhorm the Giant - Increase Critical Damage
- Aldrich, Devourer of Gods - Item Discovery Increase
- Dancer of the Boreal Valley - Damage Boost (1% to all damage types)
- Oceiros, the Consumed King - Extend Spell Duration
- Champion Gundyr - Low HP Attack Boost
- Dragonslayer Armor - Enemies take Bonus Stamina Damage Guarding Attacks
- Twin Princes - Low HP Defense Boost
- Nameless King - Lightning Damage Attack Boost and Lightning Protection
- Lord of Cinder - Boosts Max HP, Stamina, Carry Capacity and bonus resistance to Poison, Bleed, Curse and Frostbite
- Sister Friede - Improved Dodge Roll
- Demon Prince - Grants HP to player for every enemy killed
- Darkeater Midir - Bonus attack AND defense when HP is full
- Slave Knight Gael - Bonus FP and Stamina and +2 to Str, Dex, Int, Faith, Luck
Boss Soul WeaponsIf you kill a boss and unlock a weapon then it should be worth using! I went through the communities' feedback on the boss weapons and did a retune of them to attempt to address their weaknesses and make them worth using, if not best in slot.
- Cleric's Candlestick - Added Dark Damage to the weapon and increased the skill scaling for Str and Dex
- Gael's Greatsword - Increased the base damage and increased the Str scaling
- Crystal Sage's Rapier - Increased the magic damage and increased the Str, Dex, and Int scaling, and reduced the stamina consumption of the weapon
- Storm Curved Sword - Added lightning damage and increased the Dex scaling, and reduced the stamina cost of the weapon
- Demon's Scar - Increased fire damage and increased scaling from Int
- Frayed Blade - Increased the Bleed infusion power, increased the scaling from Dex (and Luck!)
- Greatsword of Judgment - Increased scaling from Int (and Luck!)
- Profaned Greatsword - Increased scaling for Str, Dex, and Luck. Increased damage dealt to Undead, Hollow by 10%. Increased Guard defense against Dark damage.
- Farron Greatsword - Increased base damage and increased scaling for Str and Dex. Reduced the weight of the weapon.
- Yhorm's Great Machete - Increased scaling of Str. Increased damage to Demons by 20%, reduced stamina consumption.
- Lorian's Greatsword - Increased fire damage. Reduced the weight. Increased guard protection against fire.
- Twin Princes' Greatsword - Increased scaling for Str, Dex, Int, Faith.
- Lothric's Holy Sword - Increased physical attack, added dark damage. Increased scaling from Str and Dex.
- Wolnir's Holy Sword - Added dark damage, increased scaling on Str, Dex, Faith, and Luck.
- Wolf Knight's Greatsword - Increased physical damage, Added bonus damage for Undead (10%), Hollow (20%), and Abyssal (20%)
- Hollowslayer Greatsword - Increased physical damage, increased scaling by Str and Dex.
- Moonlight Greatsword - Increased physical and magical damage. Increased scaling by Int. Reduced stamina consumption. Increased Durability (by 50)
- Firelink Greatsword - Increased fire damage, increased Str and Dex scaling. Reduced stamina consumption.
- Dragonslayer Greataxe - Increased lightning damage. Increased Str scaling. Reduced stamina consumption. Reduced the weight. Increase guard resist for all stats.
- Demon's Greataxe - Increased scaling for Str, Int, and Faith. Reduced the weight.
- Vordt's Great Hammer - Increased physical damage. Increased Str and Luck scaling. Increased damage to Abyssal by 50%.
- Old King's Great Hammer - Increased Fire damage. Increased scaling for Str, Int, and Faith. Reduced the weight. Increased guard protection for Fire.
- Dragonslayer Swordspear - Increased Lightning damage. Increased scaling for Dex. Reduced stamina consumption. Decreased weight.
- Arstor's Spear - Increased physical damage. Increased scaling from Dex and Luck.
- Gundyr's Halberd - Increased physical damage. Increased scaling by Str. Reduced stamina consumption.
- Friede's Great Scythe - Increased physical damage and Magic damage.
- Demon's Fist - Increased fire damage. Increased scaling by Str, Int, and Faith. Reduced stamina consumption.
- Rose of Ariandel - Increased bleed buildup. Increased scaling from Faith.
- Darkmoon Longbow - Increased magic damage. Increased Dex scaling. Reduced stamina consumption.
- Dancer's Enchanted Swords - Increased scaling by Str, Dex, Int, Faith. Increased the damage dealt by the weapon skill. Reduced the weight.
- Dragonslayer Greatshield - reduced the weight. Increased damage absorption for Magic, Fire, and Dark.
- Yhorm's Greatshield - Reduced the weight. Increased guard stability. Increased damage absorption for Fire. Increased Guard Stability.
