Guys, I tested this mod trough the week to see if I get banned for it, because you know, I want to be sure. I used everything this mod had to over on multible charachters. Did everything while I was online and fought a lot in invasions and arena. I did not get banned, so for my test, this mod is save to use :). This gets an endorsement from me
ps: English is not my native language, so bear with the grammer mistakes.
Our testing proves that watchdog works fine with this installed, but there's still room for error. If you decide to test, please let us know what mods you used during the test, the time period you conducted the test at, what you did during the test, and which banwave you got through.
Is this mod compatible with Proton 5.0-10? I'm sure I renamed the file correctly and tried setting delayLoad from 0 to 15 without success. Also tried on Proton 6.3-3 and nothing happened, the game runs as if there were no mod.
Glad you like it! I see this question a lot so I'll reply here. DS1/R and DS2 handle shops differently and I'm not familiar with how those systems work. Maybe one day I'll sink a lot of time into it but as of now thats on hold as I work towards other projects.
Hey, I found a bug with the Guiding Light weapon art on the Scholar's Candlestick. I think it may have an unintended interaction if you use it in front of the Honest Merchant, could someone please verify for me?
Those who use this mod online should be scattered to the wind. PvP is about the price of mistake. The mod levels out the price, making those who play honestly suffer. I hate guys with a full set of weapons in the Farron forest, where I am summoned at lvl 35 with just claymor or long swords.
When making PvP builds players have to grind the game multiple times to get optimal gear for their builds, this mod simply removes that grind. Invaders do it for the sport, not for beating the game and making it to the credits, and if you play online and embered you agree to being invaded. If you can't win against an invader who has less health and estus that's on you to get better at the game.
First of all: amazing mod thanks a lot for making it you just reignited my desire to replay this game a million times! I hope you have a similar one for DS1 and Elden Ring!
SEAMLESS CO-OP Getting this mod to work with Seamless Co-op is actually super easy, barely an inconvenience. The thing is that "ds3sc.dll" is basically a renamed "dinput8.dll" so literally follow step 2 and 2a of this mod's installation instructions to the letter. Which involves renaming this mod's dll and adding Seamless' dll to the .ini file.
Note: I do not know why this mod doesnt have "HonestMerchant.dll" already renamed to "dinput8.dll" but yes, its that easy.
for those wondering how to get it to work I made a comment on this thread but just in case:

This mod is not 100% safe. Of course, most users will not be banned. However, I was banned a few days ago, and the reason for the ban was because of changing too many flags (using store mods). I have contacted them via email to ask for the procedure to unban me, but I had to delete all my characters that I have invested over 2000 hours in so far. It is absolutely not safe. Don't make any promises.
If you don't own the dlc's and you pick up something that's dlc you will get banned. Idk if using the mod in general if you don't have the dlc's will get you banned tho.
For whatever reason this mod does not work. i have done all the steps correct and yet when i gesture no menu shows up, idk if it is bc i am on steam deck
