STEP 1 : Warp to the farthest bonfire you can think of to unload Undead Burg's event scripts. Any of the Anor Londo bonfires would do.
STEP 2 : Disable Andre's "dead" flag, in this case 1322. disable 1322 STEP 3 (might be unnecessary) : Enable Andre's "initial state" flag. Wulf2k's Github doesn't list those for whatever reason, but every NPC has them and they usually end with 0. In this case it's 1320. enable 1320
STEP 4 : Reset the actual event that manages Andre's death. NPCs and enemies in this game are by default in the "alive" state, an event is being called to despawn them every time the game reloads. The command is as follows. disable 11010523 STEP 5 (important) : Reload the game.
After following these steps Andre should be in Undead Parish, alive again.
Reviving any NPC should follow similar steps, but it's hard to know the flag for STEP 4 without looking into game's event code. Let me know if you want to respawn some different NPC, I'll see if I can retrieve the correct event flag for you.
Hey, I accidentally killed Dusk after summoning her in Darkroot Basin, would be really helpful if you could provide the correct tags to revive her, disabling her death tag only results in her repeatedly saying "Ah" (Possibly her last word) near where she is summoned and is invisible

I wish reviving NPCs was as easy as disabling a single flag, like I made it seem initially. Unfortunately, I didn't know better at the time.. When enough people ask me to help with different characters, I think I'm gonna use these flags to implement a Dark Shell command to revive NPCs.

Oh, i forgot!, i tried reviving petrus and reah, but i only managed to revive petrus hostile(disabling the hostile flag just made him hostile again as soon as i teleport to firelink shrine), and reah i just managed to revive her at the tomb of the giants but i'm unable to speak to her, you know how to revive these 2 properly?
First, you might want to kill them both to reset their states. I'm not sure what's happening exactly, but Petrus' crew is kinda co-dependent in their hostility: if one of them dies, they all become aggressive, and you can't even absolve that with Oswald. That's a handful of flags to manage.
Do you remember where they all died first, including Vince and Nico?
Ok, so i've managed to revive them all i used the flags for reah vince and nico and i put them all on the tomb of giants, petrus was getting hostile bc the flags for vince and nico where marked true for death, so i disabled them and petrus was no longer hostile and reah was alive again! i leave the flags here if anyone has the same issue. thanks again for aswering 😅👍

man I can't revive quelaag's sister for the life of me. 1272 is the death id and I even tried reviving Eingyi too but nothing, why did my controller have to glitch out and one shot her. Anyways can you help me dude? Would be much appreciated

Eingyi got revived but not The Fair Lady, at least he's acting like she's alive but strangely the bonfire isn't. I think maybe I kind of screwed myself by messing with the events or maybe there's another event that The Fair Lady requires to be alive, something to do with her bonfire being extinguished perhaps? I wouldn't know obviously.
If you're down to help a little more (It's cool if you're not), could you explain to me how to reset all of the relevant events to what their default should be? I tried myself, I'm sure I only messed with 1270,1272,1280,1281,1283,1284 and 1286 but nothing different happened. I wish I knew how you find these event ids so I could find the bonfire one.
In the ranges 1270-1279 and 1280-1289 only one flag should be enabled at all times. If you're not sure which flags are enabled, use "get" command to read them. Also you might be right about another event being involved: please try disabling 11400800. Didn't notice that one.
I can tell you how I find these flags, but I don't imagine it to be helpful to an average user. I consult this github repository and search it for a certain death flag (1272 and 1284), then I do some elementary school math with event IDs that I find.
That did the trick. Only, the bonfire still doesn't work but the NPC is fully operational and that's all I cared about really, I felt really bad and I needed that covenant. Well that's it then, thank you so much man for the shell and the assistance, seriously this is so much better than using something like DSGadget for reading and writing events.

It's 11010537. Reah's case might be more complicated because that's a part of a quest. There might be more to it. Respond if it doesn't work. Also, you should probably kill Petrus before doing this.
It worked. Enabling Reah's default flag surprisingly activated both her and her guardians' "at Firelink" flag, reviving Vince and Nico despite me not touching their flags. I advanced through their respective quest flags one by one and this resulted in two merchant Reahs with one at Firelink Shrine and one at Undead Parish. Requesting absolution from Oswald fixed this issue. I confirmed that dead Petrus is indeed mandatory, as Reah will drop dead again if Petrus was revived anytime she's already returned. Thanks again!
i killed patches of hyena the merchant that sell mask of child without knowing i shouldn't killed him. any ways to revive him? I killed him after he push me (I choose "yes") and then when I met him again he became hostile and I had to kill him

Hello. A hacker invaded my world when I was in Anor Londo on the stairs to the bosses Dragon Slayer Ornstein and Executioner Smough. At that moment, the scene abruptly began, where Gwyndolin dies, and I appear in the aisle (next to me is a carpet on which you can kneel), if you walk down the aisle into the hall, you can see 3 chests. You can't get out of this place with a bone or a shadow sign. Your pos-gui utility helped me to leave this passage. After these events, all the NPCs in Anor Londo were killed. I also tried to revive Gwyndolin and Darkmoon Knightess, but upon returning to the bonfire in Anor Londo (using the Better Bonfires mod), the Gwyndolin murder scene was played again and I appeared in the same passage and hall with chests. Also, I returned to bonfire, where Darkmoon Knightess was standing, to check if I had managed to resurrect her, but in her place was only a golden light (loot from her that cannot be collected), and if you go to her place, she says the words that should sound when killing her. I had a similar experience with Solaire, but I managed to revive it by returning to earlier points, and then returning to the bonfire in Anor Londo.

You can probably respawn Gwyndolin with this: disable 11510900 disable 11515389 His events are pretty complex, so there might be more flags involved.
Darkmoon Knightess: enable 1031 disable 1034 disable 11510521Her flag range is 1030-1036, so if it doesn't work, check that nothing else there is True.
These flags for Gwyndolin didn't helped me (I had already changed flag 11510900, but flag 115389 was already in the False state). But there is good news, the Darkmoon Knightess has appeared on the spot and said: "So... It was you, was it? How dare you produce a blade upon a deity? How did you ever get this far? I shall end your suffering here and now. It is the least that I can do. What you saw under light of the Darkmoon shall haunt you forever.", but she didn't attack me. The problem with Gwyndolin has not been solved. I teleport to Anor Londo, and she dies.
Just in case it's not a typo, the flag isn't 115389, but 11515389. There's quite a lot of flags associated with Gwyndolin and it's hard to tell which ones should be enabled at what times. Maybe try this:disable 11510900 disable 11515383 disable 11515386 disable 11515387
Ok, so I overlooked that Gwyndolin is both a boss and an NPC. He appears to have questline flags, like others, as well as the despawn event. enable 1240 disable 1242 disable 11510523 disable 11510900 His flag range is 1240-1249, maybe check that everything there is False.
By the way, it just occurred to me that I've been giving you temporary flags this entire time. They get reset at each game reload, that's why they read False. Sorry about that...

I've been playing the DSR Seamless Co-op mod, and the big bug so far is NPCs randomly dying from glitching through floors. Only one I've seen it happen to is the Knightess, but I've seen people report it happening to basically anyone
You have to disable Flag 151 to reactivate her bonfire, reviving her and disabling her event flags alone didn't do this for me. She was alive, but the bonfire remained extinguished. I also enabled 1036 instead of 1031, as I had already obtained the Lordvessel.
Great tool, very useful. Is there a master list somewhere of command chains to fix events? Having an FAQ with sections like "Revive Solaire" and a note for what codes to use for every specific part of his chain would be very user friendly, as it stands you've got to trawl through this comments section or try and construct it yourself.
It's possible that the Onion Knight died beside the bonfire, because I picked up his ring by the fire. How can I make the Onion Knight revive beside the bonfire in the Firelink Shrine?
Hello my guy. When I write the code for reviving eingyi it shows the failed to write memory error. For example I write : "enable 1280" and then when I hit inter it shows me this error. What can I do?

I killed reah at undeadburg while she praying by accident (baldur mob came attacking... and I just swing my sword without thinking) tried everything but cant revive her help would greatly appreciated
Not even a dialogue loop that others usually report? Other things from my sticky post also apply. You need to do your edits from outside of Undead Burg, not even close to it. Use "get" command to read the flags you'd edited. If they're still the same afterwards, then you're too close.
Also, might be a good idea to kill Petrus if you haven't already. He may just kill her again after you respawn her.

Flag 1175 should be True in this case, other two False. You can confirm if the program is functioning as intended by typing "get 16". Flag 16 is for the Asylum Demon, it should output True. If it doesn't, then we have a problem.
EDIT: I don't remember the exact command for warping there, it's something like "warp anor-londo bonfire-1". Press Tab for autocomplete suggestions.

The flag switching when you get close to her actually makes more sense to me. There's probably another flag that I missed. That instant flag switch usually happens when there's another "questline" flag enabled already. If you're up to it, you can check all flags from 1174 to 1181. Nothing there should be True except 1175. We can continue troubleshooting depending on what you find, but as you can see, the issue is getting increasingly complicated. If it was up to just me, I would've continued until it worked, but if you say you can continue without this NPC, that's fine too.
Flag 1180 is getting set by event 11010535. Apparently Reah has two separate events managing her death, those flags I gave you in the first post seem to be for getting killed by Petrus specifically. enable 1175 disable 1180 disable 11010535See if this works then.

If you revive Petrus, he'll probably just kill Reah again. I read in some wiki that talking to her prevents her death, but I don't think it's actually true. I usually kill Petrus right after he returns from the Catacombs because I always forget to do it later and then find Reah dead. If you do it before, you'll aggro his entire squad. Sometimes you just have to kill an NPC in these games.
