Make sure everyone is using the same mods. Note that some mods (e.g. Re-remastered) actually change enemy placements, therefore it is essential either everyone is using a mod or no one is.
My co-op partner and I are completely softlocked by the Lautrec quest fog walls. No matter what we do, the fogwalls do not dissipate. I have attempted to fix this with darkshell, but I have no idea what I am doing.
Someone reported that they were able to fix this issue with darkshell, the issue is unresolved for me.
Been loving playing this mod so far, so I'll share some issues we've been having (None of which have affected progression yet)
NPC Issues
Since I meet the requirements to talk to the magic merchants, but my host does not, every time I go to buy from them I have to go through their entire dialogue again. Unsure if this will prevent us from doing Logan's quest and getting Crystal Soul Spear and such things at this moment.
Some NPCs have been rapidly progressing in their quests out of order, or dying randomly with no interaction
Examples: Solaire does not appear in Anor Londo, but still appears as a summon.
The firekeeper in Anor Londo was dead when we first arrived, however she was still standing there, just uninteractable. This required us to get all the way from Undead Parish to Gwyndolin's Hidden Bonfire to get a rest point in Anor Londo if we died.
We could not give the enchanted ember to Rickert because only I (guest) picked up the enchanted ember, and the host was carrying the large ember. He would talk to me as if I was giving him the Enchanted Ember, but then when I gave it to him, it gave me the dialogue for not taking the large ember despite me not having it. (This was solved by turning in the large ember and then returning to give him the Enchanted Ember)
Siegmeyer was hostile upon encountering in Sen's Fortress and he immediately walked off the ledge when we approached. His ring and humanity was later found in the location he sits at outside of Sen's Fortress at the start of the game.
Enemy Issues
Frequently, enemies will become confused and start moving towards one of us with an attack, and then suddenly teleport to the other player and hit them instead in a way that makes it difficult to predict or dodge during some fights, especially bosses like Ornstein and Smough
Speaking of Ornstein and Smough, as other commenters have pointed out, when killing Smough, the cutscene plays as normal. However, when we died against Super Ornstein, the Super Smough cutscene played, and his healthbar was stuck on our screens. After quitting out of the game and reloading, this seems to be fixed
Red Phantoms from the Pendant remain for the summon even after fading for the host, creating enemies that I can see, and that attack the host (doing no damage) but the host cannot see or interact with. They can still harm me (the summon) despite this, and did not disappear until host and I both did a full reset
Only other issue we've had is that roughly 50% of the time, when I disconnect with the black eye, I do not load back into my home world, but remain in the location I was at in the host world as if I am still in their game. I do not get a loading screen returning me to my game, and I cannot save and quit, necessitating a force quit via Alt+F4. I can still reconnect to the host in this state, but nothing allows me to save and quit normally when this occurs.

My girlfriend joined my session while I was doing Lautrecs invasion and it completely disabled their ai so I tried resetting the world but now theres a fog wall blocking my way to the giant hallway and I can't make any progress.
I was very enthusiastic about your mod but upon following your instructions, to my dismay I found that not only it didn't work for me, but I also got a steam restriction for using it apparently :C
I am just going to clarify that I'm using an authentic original game, with steam running.
After first installing it, nothing happened upon running the launcher. I set Run as Administrator in the properties, added the files as exception to my firewall and anti virus but that sadly did not fix it. Then I added the launcher to the steam library and that seemed to have worked, but I think Steam ran the original game instead, because literally nothing changed, I created a new character before entering the game. Upon going back to the menu I received a notification about account restriction for using unauthorized data popup. What did I do wrong, is there a way I can make your awesome mod work? How can I even know the mod is actually working? Is there a way to quickly tell?
Update: What seemed to work is manually turning off windows security, creating an exception was not enough. Its just a shame I had to learn that the hard way, best regards and have an awesome day.
Similar issue, Ingwald did not spawn in New Londo so we are unable to progress the game any further cause we can't get the key. Firelink chest is also empty.
Would like to confirm this is compatible with Fog Gate Randomizer.
One player going through a fog gate transports the entire party.
Invasions are possible and work well. Only once, an invader was invisible, but I haven't been able to replicate this.
Invaders are probably not restricted by fog gates, but they probably can't use them, either. Therefore you may warp through a fog gate to evade an invader.
If you invade whilst you have fog gate randomizer on but your victim doesn't, the fog gates persist for you and you are unable to traverse them, but the victim is unrestricted.
Fog gate scaling and seamless coop scaling probably accumulate, so don't go crazy on the parameters of seamless co-op.
Is it a bug when you die fighting something that drops an item you cant go back and grab it while the other player does get the drop? My friend and I were fighting Havel and he died at the very end and he couldn't see the ring drop. I got the ring but he didn't see it on the floor when he ran back. IDK if that's a bug or just how the game works but I hope it can get fixed if its a bug.

The boss health bar did vanish after respawning at the bonfire. - Same thing happened after getting into phase 2 the second time, however now the Super Smough cutscene played again and his health bar appeared. This time neither of us died and Ornstein was alone (Smough did not spawn). We killed him because we were curious as to what would happen. But then Phase 2 never triggered, so we had to restart anyway (we couldn't die so I had to disband session, quit to main menu, start game and then let my friend join again). After resetting, the boss fight behaved as it normally should have. - Also the shortcut door with the two spear knights was already open, not sure if that is a bug, but we skipped the entire roof section and all of those knights. - When a random person joined our game during the Ornstein & Smough boss fight (we had a simple password), we received the Rite of Kindling, even though we did not kill Pinwheel. We also received a bunch of items (Firekeeper's Soul, Ring of Favor and Protection), however we did not do the Black Eye invasion (to get the Firelink's Firekeeper's Soul). Not sure if that means Pinwheel is dead in our world now as well, since progress is saved for all players. - Tutorial demon had some animation cancelling (saw that is a known issue). - Moonlight Butterfly did not spawn one time in the boss room (saw that is a known issue).
I hope this is helpful and thank you for your work (I will play the other mods as well after this). I already had a lot of fun playing this co-op with my friend!
Anyone else having the issue of the launcher just like... straight up not working? Steam's running, I'm online, have a password set, everything is extracted to the actual folder - there's no errors telling me I'm missing something, the game just won't launch when I try to use the seamless co-op launcher.
