Vortex won't actually work. you have to manually install the mod. to do this open the game's file location, right click the game on Steam, hover the mouse over the Manage tab and click "Browse Local Files". the file path you should follow from there should look like this Days Gone->BendGame->Content From there rename the "sfpaks" folder. any change to the name works. Unpack the mod and place it in the "Paks" folder. Up next you have to go to the game's other file location. the travel path should look like this. Local Disk (C:)->Users->{Username}->AppData->Local->Bendgame->Saved->Paks Unpack the mod into this location as well. and now you should be done. This applies to all mods unless the mod author says otherwise in the mod description.
does it need latest game version for this to work? cuz i can't make this work on my end when i got my US556 in hotspring i've already followed the installation guide for this to no avail.
What kills me about these mods is that everyone does their best to make their guns look amazing. They do. They really, really look fantastic - that's a phenomenal model. But, that's the problem. It looks fantastic.
Other guns in the setting, they're kinda dirty, kinda busted, little scratches here and there where someone tried to slam a cylinder closed on a revolver, or jam a magazine into the slot but scraped it a few times. They look like they've been kicked around on the ground for a few seconds, and it makes them fit in that much better. This gun is way, way too clean and fantastic and pretty - it's like he just picked it up off of a store shelf.
This is true but if you think about there are base game guns that have this too and I wish they had the apocalyptic affect to them for example the M60 you get from doing the horde killer quest line and killing them it looks brand new too as if it is straight from the manufacturer and gotta keep in mind most guns in an apocalypse need to be maintained and kept well because you never know when a gun can break and not be able to fix it due to circumstances so it makes sense but its still a good looking model at the end of the day for sure.

Sadly, like most mods, it seems to be broken with the latest version of the game.
