PSA: Instead of renaming the entire sfpaks folder located in \Days Gone\BendGame\Content\ rename only the startuppackages.pak to startuppackages_modsenabled.pak inside it.
Doing so should result in the following: - Vanilla-like loading times - More stable gaming experience (massive performance boosts in large areas for some users.)
Disclaimer: - this may not be 100% compatible with mods that modify enemy spawn values or static map edits! - mod authors: see contents of sfpaks folder and .uassets inside startuppackages.pak for compatibility!
this mod is great and works perfectly, just install it correctly .... i use like 50 mods from here to play DAYS GONE and this is one of them , i also have gameplay on my youtube channel to showcase the mods and how good they work

Just tested it against a regular freaker, I have the 2x version installed via vortex and it still took 8 attacks with the boot knife to kill the freaker on Hard 1. Does not seem to work.
NVM, after renaming the file startuppackages.pak to startuppackages_mods.pak, it seems to work. Only takes 6 attacks to kill bleached freakers. Thank you! Endorsing.
bull rush works fine. i dont think it works with the boot knife. but then again, if its supposed to work with the boot knife, i never tried it. i normally use bull rush with the bat.
You're welcome. For now I am torn between the x2.75 and x3 version of tony979. I will need to play some more to be able to give a final verdict. Please keep me posted which version you prefer.
