For everyone who is having problems using the save, follow the instructions in this video, just instead of exporting the save from the DS to the DSDC, switch to my save, the rest of the process is the same.
I just tested it and the save switch continues to work normally for me.
I seriously need your help. I can't access the save, I followed the steps and managed to enter the game offline, but I don't get past the corrupted save notifications after I hit continue. (try also the director's mod)

Hey. The string 75 05 41 C6 46 3A 11 48 8D 8D cannot be found in the DC version. I think that the game exe of the Epic version is more up to date than the save game.
Hello, here in mine it is working perfectly and it is from Epic Games. What may have happened is that you are searching as if it were text and not hexadecimal values, see Here how to change the hexadecimal values correctly. Hope it worked :D
Hi! I did everything right and it doesn't work. I'm using the free, Epic Games version. The save data corrupted and the saved game cannot be loaded text still appears. I'm using 1.08, the latest version on Epic. I'm hoping you reply. :D
Yeh was nice try bud i guess the standard Epic version has been patched and it no longer works. Did the hex edit as described and copied across the save game same as others not working. been a while since i played couldn't bring up map or change difficulty either oh well. Not gunna spend 100 hours walking around the awesome atmospheric landscape to unlock stuff. Back to Battlefield 2042 it is then.
Hello, the difference is that they are two different games, one is the base game (Death Stranding) and the other is like a remake that adds more things and content (Death Stranding Director's Cut). Hope I helped.
It's not that, it's just that the game recognizes as corrupted all the saves that aren't created by you, to get around that you need to use a hexadecimal editor so that the game accepts a save from someone else.
The editor is in the requirements that I left in the description and the instructions to be able to do this are these:
Open <path-to-game> \ds.exe or <path-to-game>\DeathStranding.exe in a hex editor (e.g. HxD).
Search for 75 05 41 C6 46 3A 11 48 8D 8D as hex.
Replace it with EB 05 41 C6 46 3A 11 48 8D 8D to bypass the checks.
Save the changes.
Launch Death Stranding and load the game.

Hello SolidApricot and DeadEndMembara, the version of this save is 1.08. This save was made for the Death Stranding (2019) version that is no longer on the market, but Epic Games made it available for free on 12/25/2022, so the most likely thing is that you downloaded the wrong save. Hope I helped.

the version numbers of the save data
doesnt match the current game version.
