This save game file is a quick way to restart the world of Derail Valey. It skips the tutorial and starts you out in front of the Steel Mill station office with all of the items gotten from the tutorial. All starting guides and certifications are placed in the lost and found shed. There is no fee or co-pay for the brief usage of the locomotive to complete the tutorial, leaving you with a fresh start.
There are several optional files to install instead to give a much further start. The main file isn't required to install these. Please don't use them unless you are an experienced player of the Overhauled update. The game is balanced around the skills you learn as you progress through the licenses. If you skip things, you may find yourself with a massive co-pay that you aren't skilled enough to pay off in decent time.
Installation:
Navigate to the install file:
Steam: Library Tab > Right Click on "Derail Valley" on the left bar OR Select the "Manage" button on the game page > Manage > Browse Local Files
OR
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Derail Valley
Navigate to \DerailValley_Data\SaveGameData
Create a folder and move all the old "savegame" files to. Or just delete them.
Move the new "savegame" file to the "SaveGameData" folder
Play the game!
