Where am I supposed to put the numbers, like /23? I am confused, as when I run the launcher the cmd just flashes and the game is launched with random character.
If you want to add a forced or sequential parameter all the time, you can add the parameter by right-clicking on the desktop shortcut and selecting "Properties". Just add the /22 in the Target box after the last quote. Make sure to add a space before the / like in the example above.
It's the box that tells the computer where the game file is. right click your detroit become human game shortcut, whether it's on the start menu or the desktop, then hit "Properties..." and it will open a window. in one of the text boxes it'll say something like "C:/game/Detroitbecomehuman/here/data/" or whatever (I'm not sure exactly what the game directory looks like and rn I'm too lazy to look). after the file quote, you also add "/##" or "/s" on the end, and the computer will load it as a secondary "file", which tells the mod to inject the new model.
Do not make it say "C:/whatever/game/whatever/##" or C:/whatever/game/whatever/s", you want it to be separate, if I understand this right. otherwise it will look for a file that does not exist called "##" or "s" so: ""C:/whatever/game/whatever" /##" or ""C:/whatever/game/whatever" /s"
note: "##" isn't to be taken literally, it is the placeholder for the character code you will use.
edit 1: Cleaned up some typos and grammar. Added an addendum concerning the pound symbols.
How the game runs is irrelevant. The program doesn't even touch the launcher. It changes 10 bytes in one of the data files and runs the game just like you do.
If someone's game isn't launching, something else is broken.
i dont know if you've figured this out yet but i kept the files inside the directory and launched the game from steam and the models were different. so instead of launching DBLauncher, just launch the game from steam. hope this helped! :)
hey, I'm really new to pc and I tried running the launcher, but it keeps closing I know it's an error on my end because I have no clue what I'm doing with other games I had a mod manager, so I've never had to download separately until today
question would there be a way you could maybe make a mod that removes the awe full music from the game? i kind of want to play with just surrounding sounds even in missions/cut scenes or chases. is this possible?

And for a pre-formatted list (most women), using the names from deadray, it can be found here: https://pastebin.com/jUwVgAtX
I may have missed a couple but pretty much all the women that are decent res are already in the file I provided.
I didn't include any guys because having say Connor or Hank speaking on the menu in a female voice is just weird,,, Lol.
As long as it has "DetroitBecomeHuman.exe" and "BigFile_PC.dat", there's a good chance.
My program's not going to care where you bought the game from. As long as the game files are the same, and it launches the same, it'll work.
That seems logical. So, same question to all, does it really work with STEAM version? If not, hope someone makes a STEAM version.

I just think it would be funny to see one of my fav characters talk like one of his first creations-
00 03 91 F4 04 00 00 81 0C 88 ; Kamski Younger - Glasses-Hoodie-Beard
00 03 91 F4 04 00 00 8F 05 88 ; Kamski T-Shirt & Jacket
Also, could you make a blonde mod? [I know you can dye her hair blonde, but that's only when it's short...]
