This mod is amazing. It adds moves that fit Vergil thematically instead of giving him a bunch of stuff from other bosses that don't fit his character. I have a question though, does anybody know of mods that changed boss vergil's effects? Cause currently when vergil is doing new moves, the clear effects on his force edge and beowulf attacks don't have much clear sword trails or effects and makes it pretty janky looking.
This isn't just aggressive Vergil, this is Vergil unlocked. Finally getting his player moveset in boss form. This s#*! is lit. Super hype for future updates. This mod makes this boss fight THE boss fight.
Recommendation for whenever you figure out the AI, the summoned sword missile launch spam is kinda lame when endlessly repeated and is easily farmed for meter. Some variation with the sword launches would be be more dynamic visually and gameplay-wise.
He did make Air Drive possible somehow, so if he can make up new inputs for playable characters I can assume that he can do the same for boss AI. May be tricky though.
I think it is safe to say that the WorldofV is completely impossible. At this stage, it is not possible to add a new projectile or call a character.Mirage edge and Beowulf are pseudo-possible, if only for motion and damage.It is impossible to reproduce Player Vergil because of the limited number of efx and sounds that can be used and because we do not know how to specify the effect.
I think the spinning Yamato move can be replaced with Beowulf's Starfall and maybe, just maybe, re-purpose the finishing move from that Yamato combo into something else.
It looks awesome so far^^! Another cool idea you could do is if vergil could treat his boss yamato stinger like his force edge stinger from dmc3. Vergil's normal rapid slash is a bit too slow and it has nowhere near the amount of range it used to have like in dmc 3. Though I'd imagine that yamato stinger move animation could probably be sped up and the animation of him stabbing your player would be removed. It could probably work like his force edge stinger. Better yet why not give Boss vergil air stingers lol

But now Vergil kind of floats and slides around in the arena after doing that combo.
But the interval is too long , it can't do combo on player.
