IMPORTANT NOTICE: I've got a new entry for the mod manager on NexusMods. If you want help using it, you should go to the post section for the new NexusMods entry: https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/818?tab=posts
so I'm just gonna ask this here anyway in case any one else has figured this out i fresh installed dmc 5 downloaded fresh fluffy manager set it all up downloaded re framework through fluffy and dmc5 wont boot with re framework active i tried other games all fine only dmc 5 so I'm kind of just lost apologies if this isn't the right place to really post this but I'm out of ideas lmao.
alright ive figured it out what was breaking it. the answer was a specific mod just caused things to not work i guess weird as hell but my fault i guess lmao
downloaded the MHW DMC outfit mod and now it keeps showing up even after uninstalling it, most of the mods that i've already uninstalled keep showing up, i've tried uninstalling and re-installing the game, tried to delete the files for the COOP trainer, ReFramework, SSSiyan Cheat Trainer and tried adding new mods but now the textures of new outfit mods are corrupted/glitched, the MHW DMC outfit mod won't stop showing even after i've uninstalled and deleted everything and the game is basically ruined because i don't know what to do or how to get rid of the old mods that somehow keep showing up
As soon as I start using Fluffy, the enemies start sliding on the ground as soon as I knock them down, that is, I can't do a combo without the enemy lying on the ground and sliding away like soap, please help me
So when I download the framework file, I have put it into the mod folder, and it just seems to close my game after words (note: this game is installed onto my second drive on my pc, not my ssd) I am not sure if the ssd thing is the issue, as someone else below listed that they are playing on an external hardrive.
I'll load my game up, and then the screen is black, and then it closes. I've tried EVERYTHING, I can (besides moving it to the ssd). I can't use the mod without the dll file, but the dll file just makes it impossible to play since it opens and closes my game instantly.
What do I do? Do I really have to see if there will be a different result on my ssd? That seems kind of stupid but idk, I'm not really that techy of a person.
Uhm, I recently bought DMC 5 so I could play as vergil and play with mods.
But ever since I started using mods in this game I often run into the problem of an infinite loading screen, I tried to look for a solution online and only seen two other people with a similar problem and only one of them found a solution that doesn't really work for me, which makes me wonder, is this normal?
like, am I supposed to be stuck on an infinite loading screen? does that happen to everyone or is it just me? I mean, as far as I know I am not doing anything wrong.
I just simply downloaded some mods, dropped thm in the mods folder of the mod manager and began playing. I have been trying to look for a way to fix this, but not much has worked so far and I really am starting to wonder if it really isn't just meant to be this way.
