About this mod
Monster Hunter Frontier just had the outfit this entire time, so I took it and put it here cause it fits.
- Requirements
- Permissions and credits
Since no one has done it before, I decided to go ahead and take the models from that game and port a few of them to Devil May Cry 3, with a few bonuses.
This modpack comes with 12 color variations and 4 model variations, making it a total of 48 variations that you can choose from! But not only that, I have also provided .ora files containing all base textures I have used to make those eight extra color variations and .mod files of the four model variations, so you can go ahead and make your own if you'd like to!
However I will not provide the tools for unpacking and repacking the .pac files to make your own custom colors in this mod page, those can be found in The Official Infernal Warks Forums, as well as updated versions in The Official Infernal Warks Discord Server where you can also find support should you need so in making your color variations for this costume or any other mod idea you want to make for any game in the Devil May Cry or Bayonetta series, as did I during the creation of the mod that you are currently viewing the page of! A heartfelt thank you goes out to Airdragon50, Cheburat0rr and Vainiuss1 for helping me out on this! They're awesome.
The 12 color variations are organized between the four original ones from Monster Hunter Frontier, and my eight custom variations that I decided to make:
Frontier colors:
- Red
- Green
- Black
- White
My own colors:
- DMC4 Dante base colors
- DMC4 Dante EX colors
- DMC4 Nero base colors
- DMC4 Nero EX colors

- Black & Purple
- DMC5 Dante base colors
The 4 model variations are:
- Normal turtleneck shirt
- Normal without turtleneck shirt
- Turtleneck shirt with Devil Bringer arm
- Without turtleneck shirt with Devil Bringer arm
The files in this mod pack intend to all replace the DMC1 costume, pl015.pac.
to replace that costume, simply put your desired variation within Devil May Cry HD Collection\data\dmc3\GData.afs and launch your game.
If you wish to replace a different costume with any variation of this pack, rename the variation file to any of the player files that the game uses prior to following the same procedure as before, those player files being:
- pl000 - default costume Dante with both sleeves intact
- pl011 - coatless default costume Dante
- pl013 - default costume Dante with a ripped sleeve
- pl015 - DMC1 costume Dante
- pl016 - coatless DMC1 costume Dante
- pl018 - LDK costume Dante
- pl021 - default costume Vergil
- pl023 - coatless default costume Vergil
