I tried updating the mod immediately and deleting the old without restarting a new save. Some of the previous version are broken but for me only 2 of them causes crashes, which is easy enough to resolve by loading them into digimons that works fine(or just vanilla digimons). Then just check field guides and pretty much none of them that causes crash are there since they're not supposed to be there(presumed to be removed in the newer versions. In short, just save your game, then cycle through your digimons stats and see if any of them are blanks(models not loading, or their icons are wrong). Don't click on them, just exit, load them onto other safe digimons, repeat until you found none in your party or farm islands. Then cycle through your field guide to see if they're all fine(the removed digimons won't be in the field guide)
tried the latest update, clear cache and adjusted the load order. Still works fine on older saves, just that incompatible digimons need to be loaded into any of your normal digimons to avoid crashing. Feels nice to replay now knowing the next Digimon Story game is coming.
so I got response from one member of my community, it appears you have add mod manager to the protected location and so mod manager can't access game files

Is there a UDP list for 5.1? For example Shoutmon X4 is in 5.1 and wasn't in 5.0.

ok, after dumping like 300-400 hrs in hackers memory, i decided to give this mod a try. felt like i was playing a whole new game with variety of digimon that was available, almost too much. grateful it seems that digimon like zephymon get the platinumnumemon exp buff so i dont have to lug around a giant shiny turd. 1 big issue i had was the obnoxious digivolution requirements. why are some of the new ones grindy ?
like why does gizumon gt (a champion) need to hit around lv 50 +/- to naturally digivolve into the ultimate, gizumon xt, when almost every champion digivolves into its ult naturally by 30-40 in vanilla ???, or why does weregarurumon x need so much lvs, approximately 80-90 ish, to naturally evolve into metalgarurumon x ?, i hit 60 with him and i can digivovle into his 3 other megas, but his 4th needs some weirdly strict stat requirements for a "ok" mega ?
very strange to make a game where you already spend like 80% of it grinding exp being forced to use abi min max for megas, a aweful game design, to grinding more exp and having to mess with the abi system more and earlier
reason for that is balance, I raise there stats compare to other digi but I also raise other things, for now as in new version not much has change but I might lower the numbers for 5.1 version
fair enough. i might have been a bit harsh since this was 10-20hrs in. but now im 110+hr in and have completed a full playthrough of cyber sleuth with this mod and i gotta say, janky but cool mod, with only a few hiccups, id say the only ridiculous lines i found (that i remember) are gizumon line which doesnt have a proper mega/weird evo line and somewhat rough requirements for a ok digimon line up, and crystalpaledramon which needs a stat adjustment as it digivolves into 5 different digimon yet needs some pretty hardcore abi training and/or needs like lv 80+ for a mostly decent line up of megas which is weird.
also where is hexblaumon ? , you have the whole ev line but the mega, which looks pretty dope. (also galllantmon alt forms when ?)
I will tweak stats of a lot of digi don't worry as for hexeblaumon, reason he is not in UDP is that he has his own separate mod made by really good friend of mine on GameBanana
