I only set the stamina to infinite, but it seems the mod treats the watering can’s water gauge as durability. When the water runs out, the watering can disappears from my hands, even though it still shows in the toolbar. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
Yes, and yes. I then tried other variations of settings, and multiple watering can types. They all function for me as they should, do not disappear when empty, and are refillable. Perhaps you have a mod conflict?
If you'd like, I could look at your log file to see if there is anything there that might shed some light on this.
Make sure all the mods you use are installed.
Run the game and load your save.
Produce the error with the watering can (make it disappear and try to refill it).
Exit the game and find your log file at C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\LocalLow\James Bendon\Dinkum\Player.log (replace <USER> with your Windows username).
Upload it somewhere I can access it. Such as the Modding Space channel in the Dinkum Discord (@Snaitf), or use Pastebin, or Google Docs and give me a sharing link.
Can't say for sure it will tell me what's going on, but it might.
Sigh... I don't see anything relevant. All your mods are up to date, none of them should conflict (I even tested with Tweaks mod, just in case), and I don't see any mod related errors in the log. I expected some kind of error when you tried to use the can and can't, and when you try to fill the can and can't, but there's nothing. And I can't reproduce the error on my end at all. I wish I could be more help, but I'm at a loss.
However, there is another mod released recently that may suit your needs. It's called Super Power Mod Menu by AYODAISY. You can just set the infinite stamina and not use the rest of it, if that's what you're after.
Ah, that’s so sad. But thanks a lot for looking into it and trying to help! I tried the watering can on a new save, but it’s still acting the same. I’ll give the mod you mentioned a shot.
Another user figured out what the situation was. My mod was looking for items with "Watering Can" in the name. So, if you play in something other than English, it wasn't recognizing them. I fixed this by using a list of all watering can IDs instead, so the new version should be working fine for you now.
i also had the cant equip watering can while empty issue is due to localization , ie if you game is not on english/ watering can doesnt contain watering can in name it cant be equipped due to skipping mod logic
Just started on the 1.0 version of the game, and the Indestructible tool when set too true, is not working it seems. My tools are losing durability! Do you plan on updating this?
Still working fine, both for me and at least one other that has tested for me. Make sure you've edited the config file correctly:
Close Dinkum open the config file found in ...\Dinkum\BepInEx\config\ with the same filename as the mod with the extension .cfg in a text editor only change the values you want to change after the = sign (the lines starting with # are just comments/instructions) save and close the file relaunch Dinkum
I have altered the values for indestructible, and unbreakable to "= true" but the tools durability still goes down on use. Is that the issue. I had these set before posting. Only changed the word false to true. Maybe another mod is conflicting!
that may be possible, perhaps put your game log file somewhere i can see? it might not tell me anything, but maybe...
make sure mods are installed run the game to the main menu, load your save, then exit the game find the log located at ...\dinkum\bepinex\logoutput.log
I uninstalled and deleted the game, and files, to do a fresh install, so I don't have the file anymore, but I did a test with only your mod, and it seems to work fine (at least with the bug net), so I guess that it is the other main mod I wanted to play with, that is causing the issue. Guess I'm not going to have my cake and eat it this time! Sorry for the trouble!
At first I thought it was spectral vanilla redux, but I tested that out, and it was fine which leave only twice woods logs (I did a test with only it and yours to confirm), which I can live without. I found another one that works fine!
Should still be working... Are your other mods working? Make sure you have the correct version of BePinEx installed: A Step-by-Step Guide to Modding Dinkum
when the tool is not durable,I put it in the storage box,and then suddenly one day I couldn't click on the tool that had been exhausted. As long as I put it on this tool, the mouse can't move. Then I turned off the "can't move" and the mouse still won't move.
I can't replicate this problem. It sounds to me like you have another mod that broke in the last update. Something like Inventory Management or Craft From Storage...

is this mod still being maintained? :'D i'm wondering if it needs another update or something,,, in the config i have everything set to 'true' but when i load the game my health and stamina are still depleting- even with this being the only mod i have installed :(
There was an issue with the latest Dinkum update (0.9.1). It has been resolved, and a new version of the mod has been uploaded. Thank you for the report, and I hope you enjoy. :)
