    I'm playing the original game and this mod doesn't work.

      I had the same problem - I'm wondering if it's because of the Kalypso Launcher or the Epic Games Launcher. The mod seems to be blocked by the preloader or something like that.

      It worked for me. Maybe try launching directly the game executable until it works? It crashed a couple time on loading for me but after it finally completed once I never got any other issue.

    This is one of my favorite games, thank you for making the only mod on here, currently using it on my liberation mode run :)

    can someone give me detailed instructions? I'm stupid and I don't get it:(

      Unpack two archives to the game folder, run the game, quit the game, edit configs in BeepInEx folder.
      What is going wrong?

    Is it possible to be able to change the backline abilities of (regular) units?

    I set comp limits to 10 for all and when I enter the game the limit is still 1/2.  Is there something else I needed to change?

      My guess is you forgot to change the line ClassAdvancementIncreasesCompanionLimit to "true"

    Doesn't seem to work, the referenced config folder in the instructions doesn't exist. Doesn't appear after starting the game either.

    Edit: Looks like the Antivirus was placing the files in suspension while uploading them to some web-based malware detection thing, worked when I waited 5-10 minutes.

    will this work with existing game or do i need to restart ?

      press f1 for map speed 
      and you will need to edit companion limit file to increase companions 
      keep in mind there is still a limit on how many over all units you can have on feild
