So.what you asked sounds kinda simple but apparently it's not,for me at least.probably cause I'm not used to gameplay type mods.i thought of increasing Dante's 3 life's in HAH but he'll still get hit by attacks and style will drop so yeah...then I thought of some how removing Dante's hitbox/collision but I'm pretty sure that would cause Dante to fall through the stage,so nope.it might be possible by editing enemy attack data instead of Dante though, but that would take a WHILE to do.
any way long story short I eventually came across this console code that sorta disables enemy ai this "might" allow you to get through stages without much trouble.so it's either that or you might have to get a specific trainer somewhere online.im not sure if you already know about the enemy ai console code but I'll upload it later with instructions.im in bed and too lazy to get up right now :p
DMC 5 has a trainer that makes you untouchable yeah, but no one did this for this Dmc.. Too bad that game had a lot of hate so nobody did proper mods or trainers like that.. And yeah being such a noob doesn't help either :) poor me..
Go to "documents/my games/unrealengine3/devilgame/config/"
Open the file "devilinput.ini" with notepad
Scroll down until you see a header that says "[engine.playerinput]"
After the last line there which should be something that says "bindings Xbox blablabla"
Paste this under that Bindings=(Name="F6",Command="Peace",ALT=False) (Name="F7",Command="war",ALT=False)
Close and save the file and change it to read only in properties
Open the game, once your in game and there are enemies around you press F6 to disable there ai.whenever you change stages or missions this resets so you have to press F6 again.and if you want to turn the game back to normal press F7.
Side note this only makes enemies stop attacking you. some of them still block your attacks so use DT or demon weapons to break there guard
Ahh thanks for this guide, but it kill's all fun of the game.. We don't even have Definitive Edition of this game so I'll pretend like it never released I guess.
Thank you for making this. DMC doesn't get a lot of love from the rest of the community, but it's one of my favorites and it's the one that got me into the franchise in the first place. This texture pack makes the nostalgia more enjoyable.
I tried this and honestly I couldn't tell the difference from the original as much. Reshade enabled only dimmed the game. There was some kind of HDR effect with Reshade on but it kept on pulsing for some weird reason. There were also multiple cum stain effects for no reason lmao. Reshade made my eyes hurt and the textures like I said didn't make much of a difference. I really appreciate this mod but it just didn't work out well for me, if you could tell me what's wrong with Reshade I would appreciate.
Sup dude not exactly sure what u mean is wrong, but can you post some example screen shots of it,reshade should have multiple effects running, also the textures were done in a way to not look very different on purpose, btw what do you mean c++ stains
