I've updated the version that works without project ARES for the 1.01 release of the game ("vanilla").
I'm still working on the update that also works with Project ARES.

Creates a sound error, even when used alone. Disabling for the time being.

Hey! I had the same issue, this might be because you're not using Project ARES, I don't know why the mod will keep trying to load the ARES sound files even if they aren't present, or why there aren't mod downloads for separate Vanilla and ARES sounds.

Interesting, thank you for pointing that out. I'll look into it when I have time. I guess I'll need to make separate versions for ARES and vanilla.

@MyEyesAreDry and @lolcatfe I have updated the mod and added an optional version that works without Project ARES, so you can use it with the vanilla base game. Once again thank you for bringing this to my attention!

I just downloaded black powder red earth just to check and it doesn't crash for me. The way Go Quiet works is by removing voice lines from the vanilla and ARES .xml files. It's copies of the original files with less content. So I can't imagine how it could cause a crash unless there's something in the original files that would crash like a reference to a missing sound file. Since I haven't seen any crashes at all yet, that seems unlikely. My guess is your crash is caused by something different.

      Can you reproduce the crash?

Nevermind, I did manage to reproduce it, and it was Rangers gone rogue.

Cool, glad to hear you were able to figure it out.
