    there is no .ini only cif files or madules which cant be access like an ini?

    I went through the entire circle of magi questline without seeing a single hint of this mod? How can I tell if I even have it installed? I used vortex to install the mod, further instructions are unclear since it mostly covers the UNinstallation process. It mentions an breakdown of costumizable ini files without giving any format to copy and paste.

      I pasted this in without reading the description of what these do cause I'm like, "yeah I like tactical gameplay, whatevs... " , and this was an easy copy+paste setup. I crank the difficulty up to Nightmare and then proceed to be procedurally lobotomized by every Genlock's granny in Ferelden. Eventually, I made it through Lothering and then the Brecilian Ruins (After turning things down to "Hard" to help with ridiculous fights) before I even checked what this mod does.

      Ironically, I got used to it so now I'm afraid of making things too easy.

      How do you install it? As you said, there's just uninstall info. Figured I just install it with the daupdater and paste lelfol's comment in the ini but Nothing's changing in game, even though it shows up in the installed content section.

    I set the mod to difficulty 5 including nightmare difficulty with full gear from dlc items, from various mods and a little help via cheats. I really enjoyed it, thanks! :) Balanced forces like this are exactly what I was looking for :)

    If only I knew how to endorse. I just downloaded this (I've already played through DA:O about five times) and I'm playing through it yet again. It's completely amazing and definitely the best mod I've downloaded yet.

    Edit: Oh, and it works marvelously with the winter forge. As if the two intended for these two mods to be used in tandem.

    Just in case someone is still using this in 2023. Disable this mod before you first meet the architect (your elven companion as well) it causes you being stuck in a cell forever. When you are out of the mines just re-enable it .... this behavior applies to AWAKENING ONLY, its all fine in Origins and all other DLCs

      Seconded! I enjoy this mod but for some reason it locks the cell door. Took me hours of trying to figure out what was causing it. In case someone just ctrl+F the page: Silverite Mine Cell Door not open - disable mod
      When I disabled I was nude but got out of the mine soooo xD

    After having played through the entire game with this mod, I have to say that, after getting the settings right, this mod is the best mod ever made for this game. It adds so much with the random encounters and random lot, it makes combat and builds very exciting. 

    I wonder if it is possible to edit or add new types of enemies into the mod, to expand it a bit? I guess that requires alot of knowledge in modding though, which isn't me hehe. Just a question if anyone knows how, because I assume the original mod creator no longer works with this mod or even plays this game anymore.

    I don't imagine i'll get a response, but, what exactly does the "No extra mobs" option do? Is that for actually having the random enemies or does it just add even more extra mobs?

      I'm pretty sure it just doesn't add mobs to encounters.

    Sorry for my ignorance in my previous post, but I got it installed and everything running fine and this is the greatest mod I could have ever found for Dragon Age - a complete game changer! I can never look at vanilla looting the same way again, sheesh, getting through a 10 minute encounter only to be awarded some crap like a normal leather cap - every single time.

    Ok, with all that said does any one else here use the slinks ravage fix? I went and installed that and the loot has become very rare to come by even though I have the ini setup.

    this is seriously the buggiest mod ive seen for dao, the entire game balance was an utter joke, either they 1-hit you bc some stupid darkspawn spawned 20 levels above you or you walk through entire levels with breeze bc everyone is level 0, the game starts out so hard its litterally impossible to play and then turns into story mode difficulty even on the hardest settings.

    if that wasnt bad enough it also breaks encounters, im up to 3 so far. 

    1. the bandit ambush with leliana spawns an invincible bandit so you either have to never play with her and leave her story behind, or uninstall the mod entirely

    2. wardens keep has a broken door bug that seems to be garenteed with this mod bc it worked just fine without it

    3. the spirit apparatus is impossible because the spirits take no damage.

    honestly this is a very poor excuse of a mod and i was severly disapointed that not even a bug fix for it could fix most of its issues

    p.s. also heavily breaks lore and makes encounters janky af

      How about you read the installation instructions next time, cupcake?
      You probably haven't even added the mod's settings to your DragonAge.ini, or haveDifficulty=

      set to 10, the highest difficulty level, lmao

    Can somebody please help, the ini file line in which I can change the negative properties of items isn´t displayed for me properly anymore. Not on Pc and not even when I check the nexusmods page on my phone. Even the comments here regarding the ini setup for this mod are replaced by the line "Njavascript-event-stripped1" . Can someone help m out. What does the line originally say?

      There should be a readme document included with the download that goes through all the configuration options. Here's what the bottom of my DragonAge.ini looks like. You should be able to just copy and paste the lines below into your file as well then adjust the values to your liking. You can leave the descriptions in as well as they're commented out with a semi-colon so the .ini file will not read and ignore anything starting with a semi-colon. Hope this answers your question.
