Sam as kptrey23 I got the items but they are not blue, also was wondering if you could add in a console command cause I would like to have 2 of the daggers
As reflected in the description, these items have been updated. They should be compatible with importing to Awakening if I set my resources right. The items are given their proper set bonuses, and stats themselves fixed. New screenshots are available which display the updated items and stats.
Great work! I especially love the theme behind the weapon and armor sets - it gives the set a story and "reason" for being. Well written descriptions too. Naming the waraxe "War" brought a smile to my face!
I think the armor model you used is perfect for the theme. I've never been a fan of the massive armours and this one seems to strike the right note overall.
Helm-wise, it's a bit too ornate for my tastes but I'm funny that way (as Shale would say!).
My only other gripe is that it's a tad bit overpowered for a low-level material - I'd expect it for a higher tiered material like Dragonbone. That would also make it less accessible to low-level characters who won't have the necessary strength requirements.
Other than that, it's really a job well done! Thanks for all the effort you put into this mod! You make me want to start modding my own unique items.
Screenshots for the stats of the remaining pieces are added. Thank you DarkSpiral. Part of the reason I chose the Ancient Elven Armor helm model is that it's essentially the only one used in the game (as far as I know). Halfway decent axes aside from The Veshialle are far too few. How could I not name a waraxe War?
I've always liked that helm, myself. I can see the character's face, it's visually distinct from the other helms in the game. It's also not overused, as most of the other helm models I seem to see everywhere (in vanilla, I mean)
I really like the concept you've used here. Using the Grey Warden oath was a fun center to orbit the set around. I also like the fact you made an axe. Swords are everywhere, and more variety is great. Can you post screenshots for the stats of the other two armor pieces?
Thanks Aranox. This first addon may not be spectacular, but I'm hoping to learn more about the toolset to take advantage of more custom textures and colors.
Is that what most people think of it? I was also thinking of making it the typical warden helm like this: http://i25.tinypic.com/242wrr4.png.
There are not too many medium/heavy helms that expose all of the face, so I wasn't sure what helmets were most accepted as being "not quite as suck as mage helms."
