Installed it with current(ish) version of DAO Modmanager. Works great!
One thing I've noticed traveling with Morrigan and Leliana...While this has nixed all problems with Jealousy, all of the companion interactions are still there. So I am absolutely entertained when they have a chat about how Morrigan "doesn't share her toys". (So entertained, I immediately kiss them both, one after the other...with the encouragement of the other.)
If you're having troubles with Jealousy popping up, I recommend downloading the Polyamory mod [ https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/4053 ] The two mods seem to get along so far. :)
Okay, so after much trial and error, I have this mod working for me - and for any other poor lost souls playing (or at least modding) DA:O for the first time in the year 2022 or later, allow me to be your guide through these wartorn ancient battlefields.... (I joke, but for real, it's easy to get lost when a lot of 'assumed common knowledge' is no longer common years later-!)
First, don't bother trying to download/install this mod via any of the mod managers, whether DA-specific or otherwise. You'll need to do precisely as xatmos mentioned in the description: use DA Updater.
Where you'll find DA Updater will slightly vary, as reading back in time through this forum will demonstrate, but it's pretty likely you've gotten the game via Steam (or maybe Origin) if you're playing it now. In which case, follow this (rough) path in your folders:
[your PC] > [main install drive; (C:) or otherwise] > Program Files (x86) (or just vanilla Program Files, depending on your setup) > Steam > steamapps > common > Dragon Age Ultimate Edition > bin_ship
There, you'll find DAUpdater.exe - note: the path for Origin will be similar, but Origin flavored. Still should be in bin_ship!
Once you've found DA Updater, make sure you have the mod file downloaded!
for me, the Source file didn't work! Use the "old files" section mod file. It'll just be named Polygamey or Polygamey-259.
some people have said in the comments here that they were able to change the Source file's .zip or .7z into a .dazip and have it install properly; for me I just got varying errors, even when successfully changing to .dazip; your mileage may vary, but hey, I just wanna share what I know worked.
If you want the updated Alistair marriage fix, follow the same steps for the main mod, but do it second. Still install via DA Updater; I haven't verified that content myself, but it should still install correctly, at least.
As mentioned above, if you download the mod from the "Old Files" section, you shouldn't have to do anything with the file extension, it'll be plug and play as I explain in a second. But there's a chance you're running Chrome (I recommend Firefox, but hey, to each their own), or otherwise have a funky setup that forces your .zip-flavored downloads into a special format. In which case, do as others have said here, and change it into a .dazip by editing the file name. You may have to go into View > [click box that says File Name Extensions] in your Windows Explorer to do this.
Presuming you're not messing with file names, then yay! After downloading the original mod file, onto the next step:
Run DA Updater (may take a few seconds even with a fast computer, be patient)
Drag and drop the Polygamey file (.dazip) into the bottom section of the program (the list-looking bit)
Click on the file you just dropped in there to highlight it
Click "Install"
Bam! You should be set!
You can verify by starting DA:O, clicking Play in the startup miniwindow, then in the fullscreen proper game title screen, go to "Downloadable Content" and scroll through the list; Polygamey (possibly misspelled, lmao) should be on the list! In fact, any mods you install with DA Updater should be on this list. It's possible you may need to check the box next to it to 'activate it' in-game, but it was already set to activated for me. I think it depends if you've changed your DLC settings in the past, but it's good to check regardless.
Hope this helps future players and mod appreciators! Sorry I can't say what specifics do or don't work once the mod is actually installed, but at least you got through the installation bit. Happy modded game-playing - and thank so freaking much to xatmos for making such an awesome mod. :)
I passed the game with this mod and here is the verdict for 2023. He works and removes the flags of jealousy for the characters, it turned out to have an affair with Leliana and Morrigan. The problem is in the finale of the game before the coronation, when you come to talk to Liliana and she says that she can't stay to be with the guardian, but at the same time she doesn't eat to look for her ex, but buys a house in the city and the dialogue is friendly and not romantic, although through debug the flags of the novel are in place. Maybe it's to blame that I decided to be crowned and did not toughen Leliana. The game sees the flag only with Morrigan and Anora. Right now I'll try to switch to another ending and then confirm my suspicions
i installed the mod, then realized it was stopping me completely from ending a relationship with a companion and uninstalled it. however, when i tried opening the game it appeared the save files were corrupted. like, none of them are working now. i installed the mod again and tried opening the save files i hadn't opened after uninstalling the mod, however that didn't work either. so i suppose, this is a warning to anyone installing. it's also a cry for help. can someone tell me how to fix this. i'm like two thirds into the game i don't wanna lose everything guys
I want to report a bug. A minor one, but it shocked me for a few minutes there.
!!!!!SPOILER WARNING!!!! if you haven't finished the game!
- Female Noble Warden, romancing Alistair AND everyone else, including Morrigan. - In the Landsmeet, I choose to rule alongside Alistair and becoming his queen - Night before we march to Denerim, Morrigan talks to me (Female! Warden) to do the baby-thing and I (female) can agree. I do agree. - We defeat the ArchDemon, nobody dies. By Morrigan's magic, two women made a baby with each other and this took in the soul. Yay! - Ending cutscene roll in. First thing that happens: Anora is queen. WTF? SHE IS SUPPOSED TO BE IN PRISON T__T - After Anora asks me what I want as a reward and the cutscene ends, Anora is nowhere to be seen and instead, Alistair greets me and I can talk to him about our upcoming marriage. - The very last writing about the ending state that my Female Noble Warden indeed married King Alistair. All is well. TLDR; Anora shows up as Queen despite her being locked up, a few minutes later the game switches back to Alistair being King.

I do not want to risk it mid-game and went with your solution. Thanks.
