      !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Auto loot is not compatible with MerAnne's Camp Storage.

You must make changes specific to autoloot if you want to play both mods. There are no changes that I can make to make the mods compatible (other than removing all the storage from the Camp STORAGE mod). If you want to play both mods please discuss what needs to be done on the autoloot comments.

Discussions specific to autoloot will be deleted.

One problem I've noticed after trying to uninstall this is that the text for the mod still shows up when I hold TAB. Is there any way to fix this? I used DAO Mod manager for installation (didn't mean to respond to this sticky, so my bad).

I think the chest from Beyond Ferelden is a custom entity, so it's not referenced by the AutoLoot script.

Alright, friends. I'm going to try to help you install this by giving you precise step-by-step instructional in case you are lost or confused. Not all of us are familiar with how these things work, so hopefully this will shine a light on your day. I am not a mod creator and I am not associated with MerAnne - I just really enjoy modding my games and want to help since there are no included installation instructions for this one. (:

    Installation:

    • Download manually. Open the zipped file titled MerAnne's Camp Storage-425-v1-1.zip with WinRAR or 7zip. Whatever program you use to unzip files should work just fine.
    • You will see something that looks like this. (I am using WinRAR on Windows 11, so mine looks like that.) Highlight all of the lines you see, drag, and drop into your override folder as you would with any other mod. Alternatively, you can use the extract button and search for your override folder. Select it so it highlights blue and hit OK to drop it into your override.
    • In your override, you now will find three files. They will be titled Mer_Storage v 1.1.dazip, CampStorage1.jpg and CampStorage2.jpg. The CampStorage files are simply .jpg photos showcasing what the mod looks like. They are the same photos posted here by mcgoy. You can delete those if you want to prevent clutter or hold onto them for later. I like to hold onto them. I will explain why later. They are not needed for this mod to work, though.
    • The item which holds the mod - and is likely the one giving you problems - is the one called Mer_Storage v 1.1.dazip. That one is simply another kind of zip file which will need to be unzipped for the mod to work. You will follow instructions as stated above.
    • Click on the .dazip file I mentioned to highlight it. Then right-click on the .dazip file, scoll over to "Open with", and scroll over to WinRAR or 7zip. Click on the program, and your unzip program will open to something that looks like this. Again, highlight all those items, drag, and drop into your override folder.
    • Going back over to your override, you will see a new file called "Contents". This folder is where I like to highlight, drag and drop the two CampStorage photos I mentioned in step 3. Of course, I renamed the "Contents" folder to "[mcgoy] MerAnne's Camp Storage" so I can recognize the folder easily in my very full override folder, but I went ahead and added the photos there anyways for my own reference. Again, you do not have to do that! They can simply be deleted if you wish.
    • At this point, you can launch the game and you should see the containers from this mod within your camp next to Bodahn and Sandal.
    • You did it! Enjoy. (:

Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this process and I will help you to the best of my ability.

How do I install this mod manually?
Due to some circumstances it is the only way I have.

I really miss a READNE or an Intruction for Installation. For Modding Noobs, this is terrible.^^

    Great mod!

Not really a big issue but does anybody have any idea why the wagon next to the storage randomly dissapears?

Maker's breath this is absolutely necessary. If you have a million armor mods like me, there's no way you want to run scripts and have to sell armor you don't like (at the time) ... easier to just spawn them all at once and store them. Thank you so much for this.

This is literally the most useful mod for this game. Yes, others are powerful and/or more powerful, but this one is the #1 MUST HAVE mod IMO. Thank you soooo much for this.
