This mod is based on the lore of Inquisition and allows a warrior character to become a descendant of the Emerald Knights, an elite order of fierce elven warriors of the Dales.

The specialization is available after you gain the Poacher achievement and grants +2 Dexterity and +2 Willpower.

This mod is based on the lore of Inquisition and allows a warrior character to become a descendant of the Emerald Knights, an elite order
of fierce elven warriors of the Dales.

The specialization is available after you gain the Poacher achievement and grants +2 Dexterity and +2 Willpower.

Emerald Knight specialization has 4 talents which are based on the codex you can find in DAI about the homonymic ancient warriors.
Of these talents, 2 are passive and grant bonuses respectively to health and stamina regeneration and to attack / aim speed.
With the 2nd talent, the warrior can summon a wolf companion called Knight's Guardian, which is a dalish battle trained wolf.
The 3rd talent is buff active talent that grants a temporary boost to attack / aim speed and damage.

Moreover there are 20 new items:
- Dalish Knight Armor Set (Helmet, Chest, Gloves and Boots)
- Dalish Knight Weapons (Longsword, Shield, Dagger, Longbow, Greatsword)
- Emerald Knight Armor Set (Helmet, Chest, Gloves and Boots)
- Emerald Knight Relics (2 Longswords, Shield, Dagger, Longbow, Greatsword)
- Eye of Falon'Din (Amulet needed to unlock the Emerald Knight armor and relics)

The armor sets are available for every race and gender.

Dalish Knight items are for low / middle level while the Emerald Knight items are for high level / end game.

In addition, few Dalish Knights are added to the dalish camp in the Brecillian Forest and they take part to the fight against you if you attack the elves siding with the werewolves.

OPTIONAL: permanent summons optional files, keep the Knight's Guardina and every other summon between areas (except camp).

ROGUE REPLACER: If you want this specialization to be for the Rogue class instead of the warrior, extract to /packages/core/override the optional CLA_data_emeraldrogue.

Should be compatible with everything provided it doesn't use the same ID's range.
Abilities go from 370000 to 370009

Works with Awakening and every other campaign.

Optional Permanent summons file is incompatible with orgolove permanent summons mod (with which i had some bugs and so i created a
different more stable version) and with every other mod that edits area_core.

Just install the dazip with DAUpdater.exe (gameDirectory\bin_ship\)

To unistall just delete:
- the "emerald_spec" folder in "documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/AddIns"
- the "emerald_spec.erf" in the folder "documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/packages/core/data"

If you're upgrading remember to unistall before reinstalling.

OPTIONAL: exctract the "Permanent Summons" folder in "documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/packages/core/overrides"

[4] Emerald Knight Abilities
----------------------------------------

Bond with Trees (passive):
When an elf swore themselves to service as an Emerald Knight a tree was planted in their honour, as a bond of the warrior to earth and life.
This bond gives to the Emerald Knight a bonus to combat health and stamina regeneration, and a bonus to the armor.
Bonus: +1.0 combat health and stamina regeneration, +4 armor.

Knight's Guardian (active):
Fight alongside a dalish trained wolf companion known as the Knight's Guardian.
After unlocking Glory of the Dales, the wolf will become stronger and gain new abilities with levels.
With Glory of the Dales the wolf also changes its appearence with elven paintings.

Elvhen Fury (active):
The Emerald Knights are fierce warriors who swear protection to the Dalish elves, their fury draws strength from their ancestral bond with nature, giving
them a temporary boost to damage and attack speed.
After unlocking Glory of the Dales, activating the Elvhen Fury will frighten nearby enemies and inflict them a small nature damage if they don't pass a
resistance check.
Bonus: + Dex modifier * 0.05 aim speed, + Dex modifier * 0.005 attack speed and +5 damage bonus.

Glory of the Dales (passive):
The emerald knights descend from the glorious kingdom of the Dales when the war skills of the elven people were unmatched by other races.
The Emerald Knight gain a permanent bonus to attack and attack speed.
Bonus: +0.1 attack speed, +0.3 aim speed and +10 attack.

Set Bonus: +5 defense

Dalish Knight Weapons:
Longsword, Shield, Dagger, Longbow, Greatsword
Tier: Veridium / Ironbark

Where to find: From 4 different dalish knight's corpses in the West Brecillian Forest.

Emerald Knight Set:
Medium Armor
Tier: Dragonbone
Set Bonus: -10% fatigue, +10 defense

Emerald Knight Relics:
2 Longsword, Shield, Dagger, Longbow, Greatsword
Tier: Dragonbone / Dragonthorn

Where to find:
From 4 statues of knight guardians near some trees in the East Brecillian Forest.
You must first take the Eye of Falon'Din amulet found on the 3rd level of the Circle Tower from a dead senior elven mage,
after the arcane horror fight room with undeads.
When you interact with the Knight's Guardian statues, If you have equipped the amulet or it is in your inventory,
then spirits of ancient Emerald Knights will appear from the trees and you'll obtain the armor pieces and weapons by defeating them.


Alternatively, you can type "runscript give_emitem" to receive all of them.

If you just want the Eye of Falon'Din amulet needed to activate the statues then type "runscript give_amu_fld".

Evanura, an Inquisition longsword relic is one of the 2 longswords you can find from the Emerald Knight spirits.
