Really appreciate this. The Surana concept art for DAO has always been a favorite of mine. And really always been a bit sad about the hair/circlet thing never existing.
Really love this morph too. Its simple but looks unique from a lot of the elves I've always used over the years.
For some reason, the preset isn't showing up for me. The only conflict I found in my override was with the unofficial remaster. One of the skin tints. I deleted it and the preset still won't show up.
this is probably a silly question but where should i be installing this? i've never modded DAO before and i'm not familiar with where i should be putting hair and face stuff. thanks in advance! beautiful character!
TLDR; Complete content of .zip goes as is to C:\Users\<YOUR-USER-ID>\Documents\Bioware\Dragon Age\packages\core\override
More detailed description For this kind of mod (there are others) the files are put as is inside the custom override directory. The custom override directory is located at C:\Users\<YOUR-USER-ID>\Documents\Bioware\Dragon Age\packages\core\override Just download the .zip, extract the two sub-folders and put them as is inside the directory with the path above. If you are going to play with more mods in the future, you should get a mod manager for DAO (I use DAO Modmanager, but there are others). With DAO Modmanager you can install/uninstall and manage dazip and override mods. You can create your own override mods from simple file buckets like this mod and easily manage them all in one place.
A fantastic hairdo - definitely my favorite at the moment. :-) I have one small problem though, which I don't see in your pictures - so it must be at my end. Do you have any idea what could cause this? I am using Elf Update, could it be it?
Update: if I use one of the more darker hair colors that seems to mitigate the problem.
Very good attempt. I've always wanted to recreate the original concept art surana, your mod and commanderstrawberry's are nice additions to my mod folder
