Curious if you plan to make similar mod for DA2.

That's an idea I had at the back of my mind but I probably will not ever get around to it. I don't plan on replaying DA2 for the foreseeable future and finding the correct container id's for each DLC item would be a much more painful process without access to the toolkit.

Has anyone experienced problems with Bregens Bow in this mod? I picked it up where it was supposed to be placed at the Soldier's Peak but the item is missing its icon, its name and is not showing on the character (it looks like the character is wearing just the quiver). The Griomoire of the Frozen wastes was also missing from the archives. Otherwise, the mod appears to be working for me and I was able to locate some of the items in places that were listed in the readme file.
Appreciate any help you can provide!

Same! A few items are glitched out for me.

My mod should not cause any issues with the items themselves as it does not modify them, only the scripts that spawn them.
Have you tried uninstalling my mod and seeing if that makes a difference?

Deleting the mod made the models for a few other DLC weapons disappear as well (Starfang). They're all still in my inventory, but they're invisible when equipped (and have missing icons).

From what you've told me I think it's probably another mod causing issues for you.
I'd recommend removing all mods from your overrides and add them back one by one until you can figure out what's causing the issue.

In regards to the mages chest in Ostagar, can you get the Memory Band from it during RTO, or only when you're first there to become a Warden from helping the prisoner? Might have the answer here somewhere, but tbh, I'm just to lazy to scroll through looking, so I figured I'd at least ask. Personally I'd like to get the staff from RTO more, but I'd also like to have the Memory Band for more exp later in the game, even if it's only 1% extra.

You should be able to get the memory band from either chest, but not both in the same playthrough.

Love the mod. Thanks for this.

I got one suggestion/compalint. The Edge is a very good if not bis dual wield warrior dagger, and you have made it only available to rogue wardens. Afaik crime wave quests only appear to rogue wardens. Would you consider placing it somewhere else? Or add an optional file?

Edit. Just read you just need a point in stealing for that on your warden, which can be any class. Still, no dual wield warrior would do that unless they're min/maxing exp and already know about the quests.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I will consider that in the future when I return to DA:O next. I think I already wanted to make an alternate version that put The Edge somewhere in the final chapter since it is indeed very strong.

Nevermind. Memory Band is useless anyway

Do you need to have all that DLC installed to utilize this mod?

For example, I don't want to have the Feastday DLC on. Will this mod still function with the available items?

It's good to have all of them installed. But you can enable/disable them as you see fit, in the main menu. And I can tell you, you aren't required to have all of them enabled while using this mod - I, for example, had all of the DLC items disabled, except for the Feastday Gifts, and with this mod I could find the Feastday items in various places. So, you don't need to worry, it will function.

Hello, I'm new to modding and basically it seems that this mod is not working for me.

My setup: DA:O Ultimate Edition from Steam, I unzipped mod into 'packages/core/override', (other mods are there and they work, for example detailed tooltips). I also installed all DLC items from the wiki page dazip files and they appear in game manager available content.

Then I load my game and open the iron chest in Korcari wilds and it only has a few standard items (sword, boots and a letter) and no Feral Wolf Charm.

    What could be wrong here?
The list of mods I have in override is: Dains fixes, fast combat, qudao hotfix, detailed tooltips.
Mods from mod manager: Advanced tactics, expanded inventory, extra dog slot, ftg ui, no helmet hack, qwinns ultimate hotfix.

    Thanks!

upd: I did find the memory brand in mage chest and Beran's bow in Soldier peak, that's weird

upd2: I did find many other items, so I guess there is just an issue with the Wilds iron chest. This mod definitely makes gearing more interesting than having it all available in the shop.

Hmm... This is strange. It is possible I may have made an error but I know that this was at one point working. Are you certain you were checking the correct chest? I can have a look next time I'm playing Origins.

I have had the chance to look at this on my game. The Feral Wolf Charm did spawn along with the sword, boots, and letter. I wonder if you had forgotten to install this particular promo item.

Do you need to have unlocked the DLC items from the other campaigns for this to work?

If I'm not mistaken, this mod will place DLC items regardless of whether you have properly unlocked them.

If I only want to redistribute the Feastday gifts without the rebalancing tweaks, all I need to do is not install the "Rebalance" folder? What about the "Fixes" folder?

Yes, you can simply erase the Rebalance folder and this will give you your desired behavior.

On the Prank Disposition Bug: Technically this is a bug you can run into without the rebalanced changes, though it is pretty unlikely for it to occur. It is the vanilla behavior that If you are at 75-100 approval and give a companion their prank, they will lose 50 approval but their disposition will become Neutral instead of Warm/Friendly as intended. Usually this would go unnoticed because most people follow up the prank with the present to cancel out the approval loss which simultaneously corrects the disposition but if you keep my integration component this edge case is somewhat more likely. I'm unsure of what exact bugs can result from the disposition being set incorrectly but I imagine you may get incorrect behavior from companions in certain scenarios.
If you are concerned with file size or complexity, you can choose to delete the bugfix completely and just be mindful of your disposition if you give a companion their prank. Giving a companion any other gift will correct the disposition issue.

You know, I was really hesitant to use this one at first just for fear of still having access to OP stuff for free, but I actually think this is really well done. You find most items in their lore-appropriate locations or people, and it turns out a lot of them actually aren't nearly as powerful as I remember them being, especially outside of the context of just having them all dumped in a starting inventory. So I actually highly recommend this one over and consider it way more balanced than the mod that just has all the items for purchase at Bodhan's.
    Good work.

I'm still gonna be disabling all the Feastday items every time I play though. Sorry about that bud.
