Really? That's why you removed the Spiderman mod replacing lgbtbbq flags with usa flags and even banned the creator? I bet if there was a mod changing gay npc's to straight, or black to white, you'd ban that too, huh? I'd even go as far as say that other way around you wouldn't see any problem with it somehow.
LET PEOPLE CHOSE WHAT WE WANT AND DON'T WANT TO SEE IN OUR GAMES, ALRIGHT?
Fact: Isabela's .mor file when you open the package we got from BioWare before they closed down BioWare Social Network in the DAO toolset has the darkest skin tone, as far as I can see. Fact: Not all Rivaini are dark-skinned though; Rivain is more or less based on RL Spain, which means you can get most colors even among the "native" population. The farther north you get, the darker skin I would presume from other material about Thedas. Also, the different character backgrounds have an effect on their skin tone/color. Duncan had a Rivaini mother, and Fereldan father (with *his* background from Tevinter). Duncan's skin color is affected by this (or how the devs envisioned him...). Vivienne's parents were both Rivaini, and she has dark skin. Isabela had a mother from Rivain, but as far as I know we never have learned where her father was from. Still, the fact that she appears less dark-skinned than Vivienne suggests that her father came from farther south in Thedas. Read the comics by BioWare. Assumption: a lot of characters in the toolset have colors that (to me) seem slightly different in the graphic morph editor than they appear in the game. Which leads me to believe that BioWare adjusted their colors at one point in development and which we see in the actual game. Some got darker, some got lighter. Isabela got lighter, judging from the (main) picture in DA wiki article about her. Fact: It's a computer game. Let people play with the mods they want. If you don't like this, don't use it. Move on. Have a coffee. The author (whose background suggests she is not "white washing" anything) made a mod as she envisioned the character in question. It is not the end of the world. That said: To me it isn't lore friendly, so I am not using it.
assassinsXspecter Not bashing the mod but just say you don't like dark skin isabela. Stop hiding behind the "consistency" excuse, different strokes for different people and all that

I've removed all but the most recent example of mod bashing in this thread. Any more, and it'll be the Banhammer for someone.
I like this rule a lot. Why did you change it? I like to download the Anti Pride Spider Man mod.

She isn't white in Dragon Age Origins. What are you talking about?
Though I didn't really care about the color of her skin, I just wanted her to be a redhead like in the original. This is awesome and she looks great.
