Im confused on what to download. If I use the Spork Edit - Act One Karl V 2, would that override the Spork Edit - 2.0 without doing anything cept putting it in the 'override' folder ? Would I have to delete the gen00fl_anders.cnv (374.8 kB) in the Spork Edit - 2.0 file & replace it with the Karl V2? I am in the process of downloading the "Anders Dialogue Edits" mod which I also have the same question there as well.
I'm not sure if this is intentional or a bug on my end, but this mod prevents the "Justice made me do this" dialogue and him being able to join the templars side with rivalry. Instead, it plays out the same as if he was on the friendship route. I did testing with and without the mod and it only does that with the mod installed. If this is intentional it should REALLY be listed in the description as I was trying his rivalry route for the first time and became very frustrated that it wasn't playing out how it was supposed to. I have the vanilla version btw.
Great. I played with this mod on my first run and did friendship romance. Many years later I played rivalmance to see how it would be and I was surprised I couldn't spare Anders and convince him to join Hawke on 100% rivalry. I assumed it was this mod. I wish I knew I should have uninstalled the mod before wasting many hours on this playthrough.. No offence meant, I endorsed this mod a long time ago, I just wish I knew I had to uninstall it before this experimental run.
For the Act One Karl version, how exactly is that scene supposed to play out? I'm asking because I either ran into a bug (unlikely, since no one else has said anything in all this time) or it was just how the editing went for it to make sense for a fHawke. I just wanted to make sure! This mod is a real gift, I don't want to miss out on anything :)
im 5 years late but its just edited in badly, during a convo with him about templars during act 1 the screen glitches out for a second and anders tone completely changes and he starts talking about karl.
Wonderful mod! I romance Anders almost every time and this mod makes his romance route feel new and fresh. I was wondering though, I'm using the Spork edit and Anders called my f!Hawke a man. Now, RP-wise my Hawke is nonbinary and would still love Anders if he called them a bowl of potato salad, but I was wondering if I had installed the mod wrong, or if this was just something that happens with the Spork edit. Thoughts?
Oh my gosh, ok I love this mod. I downloaded it a couple years back and left the game before I even finished act 1. Just recently came back to the game and I noticed I still had all my mods...cool. But I had forgotten what this mod does specifically and I kinda freaked for a minute when he told my f!Hawke about him and Karl I was like noooo what have I done!? Haha I liked how they kept that part of him restricted for m!Hawke. But the final friendship kiss and no rivalry for turning him down is ssoooo worth it. One little extra line about him and Karl with f!Hawke isn't so bad compared to that :p.

Hello! First of all I wanted to thank you for a fantastic and IMO essential mod. Anders deserves so, so much better than the game gives him and this mod goes a long way to fix it and give him the... well, JUSTICE he deserves. THANK YOU for all your work on it!! It means the world to me and my friends and allows us to cry over the feathermage in more depth, which is always a plus.
Secondly, I have to ask - is there a way to get the Vanilla Version of the mod but with the Act One Karl mention? Right now only the Spork Version plus Act One Karl is available for download. I SUPER love it as is but there are actually a couple of lines from the vanilla f!Hawke romance that I prefer, haha. (Yes, yes, I know.) If this is too much of a pain don't worry about it though! Thank you again!

What does this mean? Does this mean if I romanced Isabela or Fenris beforehand he won't comment on it? What if I want that kept in? Can I just install the older version?
He'll acknowledge it in other banter but won't say his lines that you specifically get when you drop one of the other romances to romance him and when you first enter the sewers during his Act 3 Justice quest. If you want to keep those in there, you can just use the older version and it'll play fine!
I just went to my old save file to see if the mod is working. And gosh the last kiss was so amazing I literally squealed from joy! ^^ Thank you! Can't wait to replay the game and see all other changes in the dialog
Pf, yea, I remember my first playthrough. I was so waiting for the last kiss scene, a passionate and hungry... and when the dialog ended I just stared at my monitor with "What the...?" question going around my head I really wanted to punch Anders then for not going for it, or my own Hawke for not simply grabbing her stupid apostate by his coat and kissing the hell out of him. At the end, I just had to imagine that their will have their threesome after all is done and killed lol
Your mod was like a miracle for my gaming experience. You getting into modding was a blessing for all Anders/Hawke fans. So, thank you again
