Uploaded the first version of a new Reshade called Relight reshade, the idea is to make a best use of lighning in game, and to make textures specially skins more detailed, remember to read the readme inside the file to make sure to install correctly.
Updated to Version 2 of the Ultimate Pack, this include a complete remade of Lowtown, Darktown, Caves, and improvements to Hightown and Areas outside Kirkwall, i did more on my own vision nowm the areas are very distinctive now, and much more detailed, and weathered like i believe its the correct way of a city like kirkwall.
Uploaded also 2 HD Armor one for Isabela Romance included thanks special to dalishious who i used some of his Isabela HD armor to add to my own. And another for Merrill Armor, is a variation of the DAI, in much more high quality. Both armors are incompatible with any other retexture such hd hands etc, since this mods alread get rid of the low res 80 year old of her hands.
to install make sure to remove any mod that use the same textures before the instalation. and follow the description instalation.
i cannot get the HD faces to work. i had nothing conflicting in my folder, yet it still wasn't working, so I deleted everything to test the mod by itself and still cannot get it to appear :/
- Tried LAAN + 4 GB patches - Tried Fresh install with new chargen - Tried a New game, restarted computer - Tried removing everything from folder besides HD faces
Absolutely nothing is working. begging for someone to help me figure this out
So I think I figured it out, ReImagining is another texture pack, I also have a different texture pack in usage (High Res Furniture) and it seems if it is placed ABOVE this in the load order, it borks on the items that it retextures, so I moved it down in the load order...which if u aren't familiar is merely to place it LAST in the Override folder (like so: zFurnitureTextures) this allows the HD pack to go first, and then the furniture textures are loaded after
My modding experience with DA2 is quite minimal, so I'll ask an expert since I am unable to figure it out on my own ;-) : what is the difference between this and (/how does this stand out compared to) https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage2/mods/3981 ?
How do I install the relight reshade, the instructions are very brief and unclear. Are we supposed to delete the all of the files that reshade downloaded in our bin folder? Is it possible to just convert the files to an .ini?
I absolutely love how the game looks with this mod, I use the Ultimate HD Pack along with the shaders. I also use retextures for my companion's faces, ones I'm really attached to and don't wish to remove. It caused many issues and crashes in my game, making impossible to load some saves, objects without textures at all, you name it (I only then read that this mod was incompatible with face morphs and re-textures). So I'd like to know if there was a way to get the HD version for the whole city, landscapes and such, but without the NPC and companions part ? Does the old file (XAz Pack) only modify landscapes ? I really would hate to change the look of my game, because your mods is amazing, but I don't want to change the companions and NPC's look I currently have either;
I thought the face textures were in the main files, but if they're not that means the missing textures and crashes are related to something else. Could not having the LAA cause these issues ? I know it can cause crashes in certain areas because of memory leaks, could it affect the textures as well ?
