Forbidden Knowledge Quest Fix
Exactly what it says on the tin. This is just a quick fix to make it possible to complete the Act 2 quest "Forbidden Knowledge" even if you read or take one of the tomes, so that the quest doesn't just sit there in your log until the end of the Act.
Reading or taking the tomes will provide you with one copy of the Book of Forbidden Lore, and will still provide the initial Friendship bonus to Merrill. (You'll also get the same XP for reading the books as you would for destroying them.)
This does not fix the codex issue where the quest states the tomes and Grimoire have been destroyed even if you read them. From what I can tell, there's no actual writing in the talktable to account for that.
Nothing else to it. Not a huge problem to avoid anyway, but in case you wanted a fix for it, here it is. (Gonna feel silly if someone already did this, but I looked and didn't find it, so.)
