heyo if you have found a dai mod version of player scale lemme know (ik this post is old asf but ehhh i try my luck anyways) im currently playing around in the dai mod maker to see if i can come up with anything since i still to this day cannot get frosty to work ;-;
@prettybadatthis I'm pretty experienced with modding, and I can't get frosty to work either, so don't feel bad. I might give it another try though. Keep running into frosty only mods, and it's getting on my nerves!
Hey I was wondering if there was a way to get the "bare bones" of the mod to make my inquisitor just slightly shorter/smaller in-game rather than the extreme sizes? I understand it's a "for fun" mod but still would love to change my player's height, any help/advice is appreciated!
I advise you to try modding it. As you can see on the download page, Project files have been included so you could load it into Frosty Editor and see what Wavey has changed!
Thank you for the response! I want to try modding it, I just don't know where to start. If anyone has advice on how to edit this project to change the scale/height or how to mod player height in general I'd appreciate it!
I know it's been kinda long ago but did you find out how to edit this mod in frosty editor? I am just kinda interested in this scale stuff and can't find any other mods like that
For anyone who might still be interested, here is how to edit this project :
Open the fbproject with Frosty Editor Open the files DA3 > Party > All > General > ClassBonus then select "party_all_general_classbonus_bonus_timeline" In Misc, open Actions > [9] > Value There you will find "ConstValue". This is what you need to modify to change the character size.
Sorry for my english, I hope what I said is understandable :')
I've tried doing this, but I'm still at the really small scale. Is there any other file that has to be changed as well? (Also trying to make my inquisitor slighly shorter and kinda failing so far xd)
thanks for all your work guys, I've got my qunari at a fun elf height, really digging it. Now, my only issue is in cutscenes or at random convos, the camera is just over my head. kind of funny, sometimes really funny as everyone still looks to the right height, but out of frame, but a little confusing sometimes.
anyone know how to update the camera height to match? It just seems like it's still keyed to the old height.
If anyone is confused as to how to make only the inquisitor scaled I'll try to go step-by-step. You can open the project file in Frosty Tools, then open the modded party_all_general_classbonus_timeline along with party_general_inquisitor_passive_timeline. Then you can add an item under action in the inquisitor file, pick show more options next to the null entry, select Create New, open CSM, select BWCSMAction_SetGameStateFloat.
Then you just expand the entry you created, expand the SetGameStateFloat entry in the original party_all_general_classbonus_timeline file, and just right click copy each bolded entry and paste into the entry you just created. You don't even have to expand the sub-entries, just right clicking on, for example, Value and then pasteing onto the Value entry in the other file will copy everything. From there all you need to do is go to the original party_all_general_classbonus_timeline file and click the X to remove the SetGameStateFloat entry under Actions. Then you just go File, Export to Mod, and you should be set to import your new mod into the Frosty Mod Manager.
Where is the Inquisitor file? I literally just have the file the mod gives to edit, the only line there is the ' party_all_general_classbonus_bonus_timeline ' thing. ( I'm new to Frosty Editor and what-not.) I'm not sure if you missed an extra step, if I'm missing a line/file, but there's nothing solely about the inquisitor in here. https://prnt.sc/u6w6gi - This is literally all that I'm seeing.
yeah, no idea where you got this inquisitor passive timeline thing. literally doesn't exist.
Edit: ok nevermind, he failed to mention that you're supposed to uncheck "show only modified" , luckily my eyes stumbled on it and figured it out.
Go to folder DA3> Party > General > Passive and then find the party_general_inquisitor_passive_timeline file. Then just follow the rest of the steps. Thanks for the guide sir
Super awesome mod man, love using this.. did the 2x smaller one as a rogue was hilarious to see my mini me rogue fighting a giant.. and then used the 2x bigger one so I looked like a juggernaught was pretty badass man ty for doing this!
I'm new to Frosty Editor/Frost Mod Manager, and I want to be able to play with ONLY my character as a giant-- but can't seem to find a way to edit the values when I open the fbproject. I've tried following one of the step-by-step processes that someone else posted in the comments but they seem to have something that I don't, and I have no idea how they ended up getting it.
So, I'd like to be able to change the size of JUST my created character and say, maybe Cassandra. But the few steps I'm reading through here either don't seem to appear for me, or there's something I'm totally missing. I open up the project and all I can get to is the party_all_general_classbonus_timeline, I'm new to using Frosty Mod/Editor so I'm not quite sure where I'd possibly find the _'timeline' bit for my character themselves. If anyone can help me, that'd be appreciated.
Aremus says in their step-by-step process that there's a party_general_inquisitor_passive_timeline, but I don't have that.
It was fun running around with a giant Inquisitor, thank you! Also, thanks for sharing the project files, perfect for rescaling each of my Inquisitors the way I want! :)

(edit) Works now + made a mod for everyone else

Is it possible to make 110 - 130 % of the Inquisitor? 200 percent looks waaay to big.
