When I saw this gorgeous Mod in the list, I immediately downloaded it and try to make it run with Frostbyte. But for any reason, it doesn't work. There is absolutely no change in my landscape views, wherever the place I choose. I just opened the Tempest Coast, and well, still the same sad and rainy atmosphere...
I tried to suppress the "ModData" from my "Dragon Age : inquisition" folder, but it didn't solve my problem.
For anyone stumbling on this and needing a solution:
How to change the patch number: Game folder > Update > Patch > open the package.mtf file with notebook and where it says Version 12 change it to Version 13or 14 or above.
Then delete the ModData folder in the game folder and launch the game through Frosty.
This fixed it for me! I hope it can be useful to other people as well!
Also this mod is gorgeous, thank you, so much for making it!
Looks gorgeous, but Loading times is absurdly horrendous. Taking nearly 60s to enter/exit Undercroft, and lot other areas, plus Fast Travel seems affected too. Disabled all my (around 60) mods to find which one was the culprit. Game is installed at brand new Samsung nvme m2 gen 4, but have to wait 60s just to enter a room, while normally it's instant nearly, it's kind of annoying :/
This is an amazing mod, but I don't recommend turning it on until after finishing the prologue due to many hiccups. I experienced everything from broken textures, long loading time, and dialogue and animation being out of synched.
Finally have a new PC and I can try this out! Question, If I am using Northern Lights by KittenTails than I should not use Morning Dew, and vice versa? I assume they change same thing?
I know. essentially they are both lightning mods and modify similar things. but thanx for reply. :) I ended up using Northern Lights because I liked the lightning effects better and felt like it was a bigger change, and it worked great with Blooming Age overhaul I had. But I will definitely use this Morning Dew with Spring in Thedas in another playthrough because it's beautiful
this is absolutely the mods beautiful mods ever! I remember ff15 has similar mod like this but it cant even come close to this, you made the game so much better
I cannot recommend this mod enough, it makes the world so effing pretty! Haven is the only place so far where I've experienced any sort of texture issues or slower loading times, every other map I've explored has looked absolutely gorgeous and full of life. All of your season overhaul mods are fantastic but I think this one may be my favorite just for what it's done to the Hinterlands alone - feels like stepping into a map from Fable or Kingdoms of Amalur with how colorful it is!
