Just a heads up for anyone considering this: it's a fantastic must-have mod, but banters will sometimes trigger before the related quests. I've had banter play about the Winter Palace while in the Hinterlands, that sort of thing.
main mod change time between banter optional PartyBanterType just change ratio between banter types (banter about current region vs normal story banter)
BeIIend I cannot play without banter lol, it's a must have for RPG games and this mod seems amazing!! I would very very very much appreciate those files!!! I really struggle with getting mods to work with frosty so the opportunity to have daimods over frosty is preferred (obviously there's some that HAVE to be frosty made and those are the only ones I use). I've never DM'd someone on Nexus before but this mod is a must have!! The morebanter.daimod doesn't seem to work as well (if at all) anymore but these mods struggle to work as well just bc of frosty. Thank you so much for doing the work of converting the files and I'd love to use them as well if you're willing!!
Hey, just dropping in to say that it works. I loaded the 3-7 mins, level fix and 50 - 50 type ratio on Frosty 1.0.6.3 and so far it has been consistent. I would make sure that the party has not exhausted their banter (apologies if it's something that doesn't apply to your case, just trying to be helpful!), and also, there is this strange "bug" (for lack of a better word) where going into the war room and then exiting without teleporting anywhere else messes up the banter timers (found it on a reddit thread and tested it, and it's almost occult that it actually stopped my banter - fixed it by rebooting the game and I got my banter back). In short, see that you followed all the instructions and everytime you want to load different mods it's not a bad idea to go ahead and delete the old ModData file, and then load your game with the new mod load.
Wishing you luck, I hope you make it work! Cheers!
I had the same problem, couldn't get it to work. :( I tried uninstalling all other mods and removing them from the ModData folder. The only mod active was 10-30sec, and it didn't seem to do anything. I'm using Frosty 1.0.6.3, and I'm very early in the game so I know I haven't exhausted the banter. If anyone has tips, I'm all ears.
Update: I figured it out! You have to launch the game through Frosty instead of any other way. If you're new to modding like me, most tutorials don't mention that.
I never realized just how much I needed more banter from these characters lol. Great mod, ty for making it. currently got it on 1.5~3 minute intervals to compensate for never hearing it and getting bad Conversation vs Regional rolls lmao. (I do want regional dialogue to appear, at the same rate even, I just managed to hear it like 4 times in a row with the default)
Works wonderfully, and I love switching up settings depending on how much banter I feel like hearing at any specific time. Thank you for the amazing mod!
