I have added a picture in the images section showing where the gold can be manipulated. The amount specified there seems to be more like a level of gold rather than a gold amount. The final gold is generated randomly, and this level mere states if the maximum amount of gold is higher or lower. The mechanism seems to belong to the game inherently. So between different missions you can set the level higher or lower so that some missions give more gold than others. There is also a setting for GoldProbability. From what I can see that one tells if whether you get any gold at all (I typically set that to Always, but this setting seems to not alter the amount of gold but whether I get any gold at all). I could not find anything to add in the DroppedItems array, just items. There may be some item ID that gives direct gold, but I do not know it.
This setting is in a type of game file called LootDropObject. It is accesed form a RewardAsset type of in game file (I could not figure out how the RewardAsset type works) and the RewardAsset type is accessed from a WarTableAsset type (this last one is the actual war table operation file).
This looks really neat and I'll definitely be using it. I like to get extra amulets for Blackwall since Bioware kindly deleted all but one of his and the mod that restored "all" of them forgot he even existed, but being able to purchase amulets of power willy-nilly is a temptation I can't resist. The cheese-able one in Crestwood is bad enough already. Hopefully, this will be a good, balanced alternative lol.
Can I make a suggestion, though? It would make a lot more sense if in the Gather Materials file, you switched Leliana and Cullen's rewards around so Leliana gets T3 and Cullen T2. Canonically, Leliana is the one who finds the rare stuff on these missions because she uses the black market. Cullen just sends soldiers out to have a look around, hence the more mundane loot.
which one of the files is the one that gives you an amulet of power for the gather coin mission? and btw is it for the inquisitor only or for everyone?
The Haven and Skyhold files modify the Gather Coin missions for the respective locations. The Haven file gives a chance for receiving a universal skill point amulet (any team member can use it) when activating the Gather Coin mission in Haven. The Skyhold file gives a chance for receiving one skill point amulet for each member of the team (so these are not universal), and the chances are described on main page . If you only install one file you only get one of the Gather Coins missions.
Each file is standalone. If you install a file that feature will work. To get all features install all files.
The reason why I created separate files (and am working on a few more) is that I would expect people would not necessarily want all the features described.
