Hi, so I'm doing the Hinterlands requisitions and it's all going good, until I got the Ferelden locks req. a second time. After filling it twice I hoped that would be it but nope, got it a third time immediately after filling the second. I don't know why as I used this mod in another playthrough and it worked great. I haven't changed any of my mods either. The only difference is last time I added the mod mid playthrough, whereas this time I had it installed from the beginning. I love this mod and I'll continue to use it (hopefully it's just the one req. with the problem), but I would prefer it to be fixed if possible.
I know this comment is over a year old, but I was having a similar issue and maybe someone else is too... I noticed that there's a conflict between this mod and No More Paraphrasing, and possibly other mods that affect many dialogue options. So moving this mod further down your mod list (so that its changes overwrite any other changes) may be the solution.
Okay, so I tried to fix the issue with the DAIMM version but for some reason any changes to the most important file in the mod that causes it to become unreadable, and try as I might, I'm unable to fix it. So I've decided to take the DAIMM version down. The good news though is I've made a version that doesn't include the changes to the store if you'd prefer that! Also if anyone would like the source files feel free to ask
Would it be possible to get your 1.0 archived version available for download? I already use a mod that changes the crossroads vendor, and I don't need the items your mod includes there as I also use another mod that has everything available at the blacksmith shop.
Hey Everyone, I've uploaded a new version of the mod that adds both Fereldan Locks and Decorative Gems to the Crossroads merchant since they can be so difficult to get, especially after Act 1, I've also made a version that should work with DAIMM. I've tried to replicate some of the bugs mentioned in the comments but I've been unable to replicate them, so I am unable to fix them unfortunately.
Hello, I'd really like to try out this mod, but I can't seem to get Frosty to work at all (I mean it doesn't even start up). I get the following "unhandled exception error."
Not meaning to lay this on you (the mod maker), as I'm not even at the stage of testing out the mod :) - but I'm hoping from some enlightenment from somewhere (maybe someone who reads this knows something), as there's something messed up with the Frosty discord and I can't even get on there to make a troubleshooting report. Here's the FMM crashlog:-

Note: I'm on Win 10, I've got the latest versions of the prerequisites (.net, etc), and am using the latest version of FMM from github, v1.0.6 (beta 5) and I'm playing the game via Origin. I've tried this both with a clean install and with some diamods plus the diamod mod manager trick (you know, renaming the mod manager patch folder in Updates, etc.). I'm running FMM as admin, and have tried deleting the .json from the Frosty folder in appdata and getting FMM to rescan for games. I also don't have a stray FMM mod folder (forget what it's called, ModUpdate or something?) in the DA:I folder.
Did you try to remove the moddata folder? Sometimes it helps to fix things. Also, where did you install frosty? You should also try looking for your unhandled exeption error on google seach this way : unhandled exeption error reddit. When frosty decides to stop working for me, i usually find people with the same problem and ways to fix it. Removing dai mods to see if frosty starts is also a good idea (not all of them work with frosty so it's good to do trial and error). Make sure nothing is conflicting (it's hard to say with this beta version for new users) and make sure that all of your mods are unpacked before adding them to your dragon age inquisition mods folder.
Yes, I did delete the old moddata folder (I had an old version of frosty on the previous install). Unfortunately I'm not even at the stage of Frosty even firing up, I just get that error!
Thanks for the advices folks, that'll keep me going for another round of poking about :)
Just a PSA re. this, I wasn't able to fully access the Frosty Discord because you have to have input your phone no. to Discord to get on to the Frosty Discord (apparently the Frosty Discord had a spot of trouble with spam, hence the requirement). I've done that and I've managed to get a Troubleshooting form filled in there, so fingers crosssed!
I will update here too, if I find out anything, just in case anybody else has a similar problem.
I just finished the requisitions in the Hinterlands. Everything went well, except that I got no Power or Influence for completing the Hinterlands Iron Survey requisition (it was the last one here, at least for me). But I guess it doesn't really matter.
This started out well for me, not giving me any doubles in the Hinterlands, right until I got the Ferelden locks requisition. I managed to find one whole lock in my obsessive completionist playing, and no more. Moreover, after I got that requisition, all other areas suddenly didn't seem to care about the "no repetitions" anymore, as if leaving the requisition in the Hinterlands unfulfilled stopped the mod from doing its job anywhere else.
On the bright side, I can finally do more than one requisition in the Emerald Graves now! I'll count this mod as a winner just for that bugfix, because that has been bothering me for years!
So I downloaded and installed this mod just to see how it went. Normally I ignore the reqs completely as they are--as you obviously realize--a license to print power and influence. But having to dodge the Suppo each time I go to a camp gets old, and really it isn't practical. So I figured I'd try this.
So I went to the Hinterlands and drew...the dreaded Prisoner Cages that require Fereldan Locks! It took me an age to fill that one, since I got one lock and then a long dry spell. Then suddenly I couldn't kill a Bad Guy without getting a lock, so all's well, i suppose.
Second req, the tents that require two kinds of cloth, I think Silk and Lambswool. It was early in the game so I was kind tight for cloth, but eventually I filled that one too (got lots of cloth drops while killing Red Templars at Therinfall). Dunno if it signifies but I filled both that one and the previous one directly with Threnn back at Haven.
Next time I go to the Hinterlands, the Suppo hands me a req for...the exact same thing. Not good!
So sadly this one isn't quite au point yet, I fear. Good effort though, and hopefully it will be easy to correct (say the guy who hasn't done any programming in over thirty years).
