Yes that's exactly it! I edited all of the BWStarMaps in da3/Layouts/Astrolabe/AstrolabeLevel/astrolabe
I just removed all "Stars" but 0 and 1, and the removed all "ConstellationEdges" but one that connected 0 to 1!
Now that I think about it, I could probably make a more "aesthetic" version of this that keeps the original layout more and just connects the original start star to the end star.
You two want a real challenge? Find some way that all those stupid shards come to your Inquisitor because you looked through a damn skull somewhere. That Hunt, jeebuz.
Is there a loading order for it to work for the Jaws of Hakkon DLC? It doesn't work when I'm at Frostback Basin or did I mess up something? Thank you again for this wonderful sanity saving mod <3
I've played this so many times I know most of them by heart but there are those couple in Storm Coast that always takes me awhile or a google search to complete. And normally I love things like this but I hate spending 20 minutes on just one because I'm too stubborn to google search it right away. This is going to be super helpful for this next run.
On their own I actually like puzzle games; but I do not like them inserted as a "mini game" inside of non puzzle RPG's. The Astrariums are annoying to complete and not what I want to do while wandering Thedas.
I also saw your messages with svartalfimposter about the mosaics. If you find a way to "complete" the mosaics (or any other collection) without having to actually hunt down every piece you will have solved the biggest tedious frustration left in this game. It would be game changing in its brilliance.
Then I would just be left with the frustration of herding that Golden Hala to the Dalish camp 🤣
Since we're on the topic of puzzles inside RPGs, do you know if there's any way to one-click through the Temple of Mythal access puzzles? They are frustrating to me not because they're particularly difficult, but they're tedious, and--worse yet--the game sometimes does not recognize what you've done and thinks you've stepped on a tile twice which then requires you to start the whole thing over.
Consequently I've gotten to the point where I simply don't even try and just jump down into the chasm and work my way through the Red Templars in the Temple's basement ;-) But I don't really like to do that and so was hoping someone, somewhere would come up with a way to blow past the puzzles...
I was so excited to see a DAIMM option, but it crashed my whole mod manager and then my PC. Not sure what's going on there as I am pretty mod savvy and it was the only new mod added into my DAIMM.
Thank you so, so much for this! I'm not even halfway done with my 5th playthrough, and I'm just... Man, I'm so tired of googling the answers to those damn astrariums! This worked perfectly; I don't think I'll ever play without it again!
