For anyone still having problems with crashing - update Frosty to the latest version. This solved the Lighthouse crashing issue for me, don't know if it fixes the Bellara cutscene.
I also have crashing with this mod. Maybe you could set it back to the original ui image in the cc instead of the hair image. Some people seem to think that changing stuff in there causes problems. I use a freckle and stubble mod that don't change the ui images and seem to not have this problem so it could be a fix.
Really cool !!! Thank you so much !! <3 I've a question : Did you plan to add optionnal file for more bodyhair ? (I want so much my dwarf really hairy T_T)
As others have pointed out, this mod causes game crashes during the early-game cutscenes related to Bellara. (I'm certain of this because I also went through the process of checking mods one by one) I suspect it might be due to UI conflicts related to a body paint thumbnail, but it could also be an issue with the Frosty Editor, so I'm not sure of the exact reason. While I've already fallen in love with this mod, those who plan to use it should keep this issue in mind.
I've downloaded v 1.2 and the game is crashing when I try to enter the Lighthouse (both via fast travelling or via the Crossroads). I only have 2 more mods installed and the game doesn't crash when I disable this mod. Hopefully that was helpful enough information. By the way, great mod! So nice to have a Rook that hasn't lasered all his body hair!
That's so weird. Do you have the latest fmm installed? Which is v5 iirc? Also are you on patch 3 of the game? I have the mod installed, even had to restart my playthrough to test, no crashes D: I am honestly confused. Could it be graphics settings related or something?
I hope I am able to put this to rest 😅 so I'm definitely running Patch 3 and using FMM v5. Given your comment I thought I'd give it another try but this time I tried after restarting my PC. I haven't done anything else differently but it's not crashing anymore and I am able to enjoy your mod! Fingers crossed it doesn't happen again and thank you again for creating this mod!
great mod but i got into trouble. it crashes after Bellara's scene (after Lace's dagger scene where she is trying to fix the elven item). after their conversation, varric's narration doesn't show up and crashes. I have many mods so I unchecked and checked them one by one and it seems one of the mods that causes crashes in that scene is this. could it be a conflict with another mod? or maybe because I updated the mod mid playthrough to a newer version? (before that scene there was no problem. the body hair works).
I've also had this problem with this mod (did the same thing, tested one by one and this one was responsible for crashes after that Bellara scene), but I will say that it's only at the Lighthouse for me. I can still run around outside the Lighthouse and the mods works fine, so until the people working on Frosty make a fix for it (which according to my sources, they are working on), it's probably best to just turn it off at the Lighthouse for now.
really well done, i love the distribution in this one! if it's not too much trouble, would you consider making a version that goes over tattoos instead? i'm rather attached to some of the body paints and would like to switch tat/paint from rook to rook without losing the hair
