LOL, what?? Frosty is actually so easy. Even in Alpha state they have a working and reliable mod manager only a couple weeks after launch. Maybe ask for help with whatever you're running into instead of unfairly disparaging a great community asset.
Frosty does not launch the game, i have even deleted moddata and NOTHING. I have frosty alpha5, the latest, i even have Veilguard with patch 3, the latest. When i have played Mass Effect Andromeda with frosty, it worked perfectly, so this is not my first time using frosty. Can someone upload a working frosty, so that i can test it?
Hmm, that's odd, but I recall having some chicanery with certain mods during Mass Effect. TBH, you would be better served asking in the Frosty Discord, there's a whole section for troubleshooting there. Good luck!
Sorry but i will never use discord, that interface gives me nightmares. I will never understand the obbsesion of people to communicate ONLY on discord.
I'm not sure if you're having the same problem I had, but if you have Veilguard on EA Desktop, sometimes you need to forcequit EA (end task in task manager), start EA Desktop, THEN start Frosty, and then try to launch the game.
Mine was stuck on a loop of "This game is already running," or Frosty would try to launch, there'd be a second, and then EA Desktop would pull up like the game had crashed instantly. I think there's a miscommunication somewhere with how each platform recognizes the other. If this doesn't help you, hopefully it helps someone!
Yeah the toolset doesn't yet account for audio files like that, aside from muting them. Hopefully will address that once they develop the kit more, but it's early days and I'm excited to learn Frosty, now that there's buzz around the toolkit again. Might actually be able to use that knowledge on prior Frostbite games, which would be fun.
Ohhhh my god, please share how you got Morrigan's outfit onto Lucanis with the folks who are making "Morrigan outfit for Rook" mods, because they have been stumped by every request (I think they're concerned about clipping, tbf)
Glad you like it! TBH they probably know more than I do. I have been modding for a while, and I'm familiar with the toolkit from back during Mass Effect Andromeda, but I've only been modding for this particular game recently. There's a lot of stuff to learn. Most likely, those other modders are struggling with the same issue as posted in this forum (conflicts leading to invisible bodies for some characters).
As the toolkit develops, I'm certain folks will be able to iron out those issues. It's early days yet!
Tried this and works amazingly on Lucanis....only problem is....made my rooks body disappear. No idea why, must be something conflicting in there but I'm not using any other Lucanis mod. Just FYI really.
Thanks! Yeah, for some reason, certain custom Rook armors will get that result (NOT recolors, just stuff like "Isabella armor for Rook"). I am keeping an eye on the toolkit forums, to see if there's a way to fix that later. Are you seeing these results with vanilla Rook?
Might be worth checking The Swap Library and using that in tandem, just place my mod above it in the load order (so that mine takes less priority).
