No. You might be confused because there were talks of plagiarism because he "stole" a few notes from some popular contemporary rock songs, but claims along similar grounds today are dismissed because you can't claim a series of notes. The two songs shared a chord or a few notes, but that doesn't make it plagiarism. Music theory wasn't really commonly heard of back then, so the idea of listening to clips of two different songs and noticing they sound very similar was enough to scare producers and they cut ties with him.

Perfect example that comes to mind is Wonderwall and Boulevard of Broken Dreams. Same riff, different songs.

Does this mod happen to have the Perfect Cell Theme? I saw the cutscene preview video and I didn't see it in there. It's my favorite dbz song by faulconer and would love to hear it in xenoverse 2.

I appreciate the work you put into this for us fans of the soundtrack. Thanks much!
Edit: I tested it out, works like a charm. I can tell you put effort into it too.

Check my comment, if you still are uncertain how to install it.

These are the steps necessary to get this mod working:

    Download and install:
    - XV2PATCHER
    - X2M Installer (not really needed... but just to be safe that the correct game folders are created)
*Both most-up-to-date versions are located here:  https://animegamemods.net/thread/4059/tools-eternity

    Download this mod.

Follow these instructions for installation of the Patcher and X2M Installer.  Even though the video is old, it is the same proceedure... although there will be newer versions of the XV2PATCHER and X2M installer:

Launch the game in offline mode (Steam) by circumventing the EAC (anti-cheat) by using the game exe (DBX2.exe) in the "bin" folder located in the main game folder.  The file / folder address should look something like:
    - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DB Xenoverse 2\bin

When you launch the game, you'll get a couple of "warning messages" about online play being disabled and certain online features being unavailable due to no EAC and not being online.  At the game's title screen, check the bottom right corner for the following text (or a more recent patch if it exists):
    - v1.15.01 (patcher 3.52)

So long as the patcher version is the most recent one (that you tried to install), you are good to go.

    ---

Now to install the music mod.

You need to ensure that you have the right sub-folders (in the "data" folder located in the main folder of Xenoverse 2) where you can put the new music from this mod into.

Check the folder and ensure you see the following folders / folder path:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DB Xenoverse 2\data\sound\BGM

*The data folder should've already been created when you installed XV2PATCHER and X2M Installer.  If there isn't a "data" folder... create it now and create the corresponding sub-folders "sound" and "BGM".

You already downloaded this mod's contents, which contains:
    - DBXV2 Faulconer Edition DLC 06 Update-14-1-0-1582601147 (zipped file)
    - DBXV2 Faulconer Edition-14-1-0-1582601016.rar (compressed rar file)

Open / extract both folders (to a convenient location on your PC) to be able to access the files contained within.

For the first folder (DBXV2 Faulconer Edition DLC 06 Update-14-1-0-1582601147 ), follow the sole folder path to the very end:
    - DBXV2 Faulconer Edition DLC 06 Update-14-1-0-1582601147.zip\data\sound\BGM... where you will see (2) files:
    1.  CAR_TU6_Demo_BGM.acb
    2.  CAR_TU6_Demo_BGM.awb

Copy and paste both of these files into game's "BGM" folder:
    - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DB Xenoverse 2\data\sound\BGM

Now go to the other item (the .rar file) - DBXV2 Faulconer Edition-14-1-0-1582601016.rar and access the sole folder path to the very end:
    - data\sound\BGM... where you will see (2) files:
    1.  CAR_BGM.acb
    2.  CAR_BGM.awb

Just like the last time, copy and paste them into the game's "BGM" folder:
    - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DB Xenoverse 2\data\sound\BGM

The game's BGM folder now should have all (4) files in it:
    - CAR_TU6_Demo_BGM.acb
    - CAR_TU6_Demo_BGM.awb
    - CAR_BGM.acb
    - CAR_BGM.awb

*** If you did all the above, launch the game via the "bin" folder DBX2.exe, and once you get to the opening video (Trunks talking about being a Time Patroller)... you should hear the following song playing - Episodic Trunks:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPZEWZjzCKM

If you do, then you're done!  Good job!

*If additional game updates (DLC) come after this post, you'll have to double-check the mod author's downloadable files to verify you get the newest file containing the Faulconer music for whatever new scenes / battles / stages / characters are introduced in the new update.  If a new update occurs and the mod author doesn't update this mod, you'll likely hear the regular game music in the new DLC content only.
