Shame they didnt do this themselves, question though is there a way to just have the chiptune instead of the orchestral version. i did enjoy the mix for a bit but at some point it kinda seemed overwhelming haha so i wish it was more of a choose chiptune or orchestral flip flop like they slime lyre in dragon quest builders 1. that was nice
I hear ya. I was almost thinking of mixing the tracks in such a way that one loop would be the combined sound, followed by one loop as just the chiptune, and one loop as just the orchestra. Might give a nice break / change-of-pace on certain tracks, if nothing else.
That said, I haven't had much opportunity to follow up on either of the music mods I've made in awhile. This is definitely something I'll evaluate if/when I can get to updating it in the future.
Thanks for the comment- hope you enjoy the game regardless!
Hi! Thanks, this mod is great! It would be awesome if you could make a mod changing the battle theme for the DQV PS2 version! Changing the boat theme for the DQVIII sea song would be a great idea too. You're the only one doing music mods, and I think many people are looking for the DQV battle song mod ;D
I have some ideas for a "More Music Variety" mod (similar to the one I did for Dragon Quest XI) which would add tracks from all over the series and make the music less 'repetitive' / changing for different areas.
But i'm waiting for a chance where i'll have more time to do so. Right now i've got too many other mods on my plate ;p
Do you plan to publish how you do audio hacks? For example, I would like to play Dragon Quest 5 music for a change.

And yes, that will come eventually as well.
