Leaving a link here just incase someone passes by this mod and wants to use it but doesn't know there's a fixed version of it that someone made @ Reckless Swordsman (Fixed)
I'd 100% use this if it weren't for the crashing on climbing attacks thing, is there hope for a fix for that in the future?
Glad to see this is actually possible though, gives me hope that someone might still make a mod to keep magick shields on-hand at all times like the regular ones.
I am the same way. I really enjoy the new animations (as far as what I saw in this demonstration video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5yTy66vu00Q&feature=youtu.be), but I also enjoy climbing big monsters and hacking at them.
This is really cool, I loved being able to mess around with weapon movesets in Dark Souls 2. (via Cheat Engine) Shame Dragon's Dogma has comparatively few animations, though.
Pretty neat changes, fun to mess around with! The video demonstration in the description doesn't seem to load for me though, so in case others are having the same problem, I recorded a quick demonstration of the move changes: https://youtu.be/5yTy66vu00Q
The changes to the core skill combos are as follows: -Onslaught (regular light attack combo): First swing is the same, second swing is replaced by the double slash from the 3rd move of Dire Onslaught, finisher is the same. -Dire Onslaught (light attack, pause, light attack): Second swing and beyond are replaced by the 2nd and 3rd swings from the Warrior's light attack combo. Slow, but with a surprisingly short recovery time so it can chain into a new light attack combo immediately. -Takedown (hold heavy attack): Initial thrust is the same, but the shoulder tackle is replaced by the quick spinning stab from the dagger's Roundelay heavy attack
