Hi everyone, time to revisit Dragon's Dogma :)

I've already played this game in the past, without cheats or mods, then I decided to play it again because it's awesome. But just to think about, for example, getting all those 100 badges of vows... you know... tiring and time consuming. So I was messing with the game here then I decided to make this mod. It does not have every item in the game, I just focused on the quest items, so you won't waste too much time on fetch quests.



ABOUT
======
This mod uses a save file (DDDA.sav) which contains all quest items for Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen. It has all fetch quest items for the main campaign (like those 100 Badge of Vows) and Bitterblack Isle, and also cosmetics from the Rift Shop. For GOG or Steam users.

The .zip files will contain both the "DDDA.sav" file (for direct GOG use) and the "DDDA.sav.xml" file (for Steam or GOG online). Steam or GOG online users will need FluffyQuack's "DD Save Tool" to recompile the files.

GOG users can simply choose a "DDDA.sav" file and use it as their saved game, to play it offline.
Steam users must add their corresponding Steam ID number within the "DDDA.sav.xml" file and recompile it to a "DDDA.sav" file using the "DD Save Tool".

If you're a GOG user and want to play online, then you'll have to edit the "DDDA.sav.xml" file adding your GOG Galaxy ID number and recompile it to a "DDDA.sav" using the "DD Save Tool".

DETAILS
=======
Game start: at Pablo's Inn, in Cassardis

Difficulty: Hard mode (you can change the difficulty in the game "Options > Gameplay" menu)
Warning: If you change the difficulty to Normal on the game "Options > Gameplay" menu, you can NOT switch it back to Hard. If you put it on Normal, then you can only start a new game on Hard mode through the main menu.

You can edit/customize your character on the "Main Menu > Character Edit".
I included the item "Secret of Metamorphosis, which allows unlimited character editing any time you want. You can change the basic character and pawn information, like Name, Moniker, Voice, etc and you can also make more detailed customizations. The hair, face, eye and skin cosmetics are unlocked.

Vocation and Gender: Choose a file to download based on the vocation and gender you wish to start the game with

Tip: To change your vocation in-game, wait until night time in Cassardi's docks, talk to Olra, she'll take you to Bitterblack Isle. Talk to her there and you can choose another vocation.
Or, go to Gran Soren and talk to the innkeeper Asalam.
(At level 10, you can choose Advanced or Hybrid vocations)

All Quest Items and Cosmetics: it has all possible starting vocation and gender combinations. Just choose a saved file you want to use.

NOTES
=====

Note 1: I wanted to add the quest items before the player had to choose the vocation, but the items you add to your inventory before choosing a vocation are all deleted after you choose it.

Note 2: I left the quest items within the main character's inventory, so you won't need to go to your vault to take them when asked to.

Note 3: No item has been enhanced, they're all defaults and in a quantity of x10 or so for curatives, x4 for cosmetic rings (main character and pawns) and some duplicates for quest items.

Note 4: If you're over encumbered and do not wish to use another mod to change the weight variables, then you should put the items in your vault and get them when needed.



INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS
====================
For GOG users (offline)
-----------------------
(1) - Backup your save game file

DDDA save game location (GOG):
C:\Users\"your-user-name"\AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\Applications\49987265717041704\Storage\Shared\Files\DDDA.sav

(2) - Copy the modded "DDDA.sav" file you downloaded here into the location mentioned above on step 1. Overwrite if asked to.

(3) - Done :) Run the game and enjoy


For Steam users or GOG online
-----------------------------
(1) - Download FluffyQuacks's "DD Save Tool": http://www.fluffyquack.com/tools/DDsavetool.rar

Extract it and you'll see a file named "DDsavetool.exe"

(2) - Backup your save game file

DDDA save game location (Steam) - example path:
C:\Program Files\Steam\userdata\"your-Steam-number"\367500\remote\DDDA.sav

(3) - Open the "DDDA.sav.xml" file you chose to download with a text editor (Notepad++ is recommended, but you can use the basic Notepad from Windows)

(4) - Search for "SteamID" (it's down below, almost on the last line). You'll see a line like this: <u64 name="mSteamID" value=""/>

For GOG users, search for "GalaxyID". You'll see a line like this: <u64 name="mGalaxyID" value=""/>

(5) - Add your Steam ID number between the "" of the value identificator. Example: <u64 name="mSteamID" value="12345678910"/>

For GOG users, add your GOG Galaxy ID number between the "" of the value identificator. Example: <u64 name="mGalaxyID" value="12345678910"/>

(6) - Save the "DDDA.sav.xml" file

(7) - Drag the "DDDA.sav.xml" file over the "DDsavetool.exe" file and release. As soon as you release the mouse button, the save tool will automaticaly recompile and update the "DDDA.sav" file (you can check the file date and time it was last modified if you wish)

The "DDDA.sav" file now has your Steam ID number associated with it. The game shall recognize it as your saved game file now.

(8) - Copy the "DDDA.sav" file you recompiled with your Steam ID number and paste it in the DDDA save game location (shown on step 2). Overwrite when asked.

(9) - Done! Run the game and have fun :)

There might be one or more quest items that I missed, because I added them all one by one using dinput8 (yes, including all 100 badge of vows, lol).

In the future, I probably won't update this mod, but you can edit the save file more to your liking if you so desire.

I do not take any responsibility for any lost item, corrupt save game file or game crash that you may encounter when using this mod. Always backup your files before using a mod.
