for those still encountering crashes, I updated the description with some steps that helped some users fix the issue, so please take a look
for all non-Nvidia GPU users, I updated the description for a potential workaround, and since I only have an NVIDIA GPU, I don't know if it'll work, so please let me know if it does or doesn't work
as for ReFramework, A fix has been found by RokubiKitsune. Check the compatibility section in the description.
Huge thanks to all of you for helping others encounter issues in the comments, you guys are the best
This is how I got this working on RTX 3080 as of February 2025: 1. Get dlssg-to-fsr3 (universal) and use dll_version from that zip file. 2. Download this mod but only extract nvngx_dlss.dll and skip sl.interposer.dll (since Capcom added DLSS, there is already an sl.interposer.dll file. this mod's dll file simply breaks the game right now)
I can get this to work new DLSS version as well, using the Nvidia app. For the VSync, I recommend setting it to Fast instead of On. That way, the game is not limited to 30 FPS before frame generation. If you use VSync, if the game drops to 24 FPS, the result is 48 FPS which is very noticeable. With Fast VSync on, the game runs as usually without the Frame Generation and then the frame generation applies. So, you can constantly get more that 60 FPS with very minimal tearing.
Note: You need to have installed REFramework mod in any modern Capcom game using RE Engine if you are planning on using mods. Otherwise, you'll get crashes.
do i need to turn on the frame generation ingame? mine does not crash anymore after following your guide but crashes when i turn on frame generation bro
Yes, you need to enable the frame generation. Have you installed REFramework mod? I think Denuvo causes those crashes when the game is modded, you need to have REFramework installed in order to prevent that.
For AMD video cards, you don't need to download anything, you just need to enable the AMD fluid motion frames 2.1 function and then frame generation will work for you. On my RX 6600 and RYZEN 5500, I get about 55 fps in the city and in open areas, but with this function, my fps rises to 100+ and the smoothness is good, but there are also freezes, but this is most likely due to the fact that my processor is loaded to 95% and I see this in games for the first time)
Just wondering, in the case of Dragons Dogma 2, is DLSS Super Resolution necessary to make the frame generation work? It just looks so blurry and horrible that it makes me want to play with lower FPS just to see the game at a decent quality.
I found this solutions but have not tried them yet, let me know if you do! *This is fixed by turning Reflex to on or on + boost. *maybe this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/residentevil42023/mods/4 can help you.
I know, it's for Resident Evil 4 (2023) but someone in the comments here (or somewhere else in the DD2 comments) referred to this mod to remove the filters and it works for me. Enabling the "Color Correction" option, should remove the filter you mean, at least it's the only option I'm using.
i have just tried the turning reflex on+boost and it works. (after that i have tried to take dlss quality to quality mode and it was red again. i think its something to do with card strenght but im not sure

Does it even work with 10 gen cards ?
