About acceleration changes with this mod: Main effect from this is slower/minor inputs now move camera by the same amount compared to faster inputs, in vanilla when you moved your mouse very slowly the camera will move only a tiny amount, but if you move it extremely fast then the camera will move a lot further, even though your mouse moved the same distance.
You could try testing with the REF overlay active so that you can see your mouse pointer, make sure this script is disabled in ScriptRunner section, then try moving your mouse very slowly toward the right (keeping it in window bounds), then flick back to your original mouse position.
With no acceleration / 1:1 mouse-to-camera movement this should move camera back to the same point each time, but in vanilla you can see the camera moves much further toward the direction it was flicked: https://files.catbox.moe/p11bq7.webm
Then try the same with the mod enabled, and you should hopefully see similar results as latter part of the video, where slow movements match up to fast ones near exactly.
If you don't see the same results try changing your window mode to fullscreen/borderless, or try capping your framerate. (there's also been an issue noticed when your Windows display DPI is above 100%, if you still see any acceleration it may be worth checking if changing DPI to 100% helps at all - usually have to do this in Display settings, the EXE compatibility options don't seem to help)
Was able to rewrite most of the camera update code, might have found main cause for accel, not sure how well it'll work for everyone though, if you still get any mouse accel with this mod please reply/PM and I'll send you a new version to try.
E: eh looks like there's no takers in testing it, guess the current ver is working fine for most people then.
Anyone having issues with this mod and slowmotion? Mod works fine and acceleration really is gone or almost gone, but when in-game slowmotion begins (after a perfectly timed Dire Arrow skill or after finishing blow in combat, etc) seems like camera sensetivity increases hundrer times and I end up looking at the sky after every Dire Arrow, which makes it borderline unplayable. After slowmotion ends it returns to normal.
This mod is godsend for m&kb. Thank you very much I wasn't able to fully enjoy this game without this mod. Almost immediatly I have felt that mouse is now much more responsive.
The difference is insane! The moment I installed it and tested aiming, everything felt natural. Aiming with mouse acceleration is incredibly noticeable in this game.
I recently updated to the latest version of Reframework nightly, and now the sticking camera issue is back. it was all fine before, but now its back. I had to update reframework for some mods that use some new functionality. Is this just an issue with reframework or something else?
I found turning mouse sensitivity (DPI) to the MAXIMUM in my logitech ghub sofware, and then turning mouse camera movement to the MINIMUM in-game and voila, the camera movement is smooth, no jitters, and I'm not using this mod or any mod for that, it's glorious!
