I literally just want an easy way to save my character's and main pawn's sliders as presets for subsequent clean playthroughs, and also because my pawn looks better than my Arisen and I cba to go through all that again. Is there really no way to just pick a target character and make it auto-clone it?
I can't tell if it's intended or not but Ctrl C (I messed up a value and wanted to copy it to notepad for later to remember to fix) closes the software resetting all progress.
Perfect work! Must have mod if you like create cute chars.
But default male preset human_male.ini must be updated with this values to work: [head_base_head] base_head = 20 [head_skin] << Add this section name base_skin = 22 skin_color = 5 wrinkles = 50 skin_sheen = 14 .. [markings_body_scars] body_scar_vert_pos = -45 << Value must be -45 .. [markings_body_scars_2] body_scar_vert_pos = -45 << Value must be -45
thank you Mx772, it is very good, shame on capcom which doesn't provide basic transfer / copy face preset even from our save / creation, let alone from other save. Just add comment, i try to create a preset using your script, but i find it very time consuming. The question "skip this section? (y/n)" often mess up the input, & i need to start over, until finally i give up & edit manually the .ini files
it didn't work on version 3.10.9 of python so upgraded to 3.10.11 and now it works. Except for tattoos. Everything goes wrong at tattoos specifically after tattoo 1 primary color.
Love this tool, thank you very much for sharing this! It's really fun to see the characters being generated automatically.
Since I struggled a bit before I got this running, I tried to compile the usage instructions in a way that seems a bit more clear to me. Hope this might help others too:
1.) Open Char Gen ingame or in demo
2.) Create new 3.) Pick far left body 4.) Pick middle face 5.) Open first section of the CC page (Detailed Customization -> Body)
6.) Click 'DD2AutoSlider.exe' and wait for the GUI to open (may be necessary to run in admin mode) 7.) Select default body in tool GUI 8.) Click 'Browse' and pick character preset/template file 8.a) Maybe tick the box for 'DD2 CC'...? (Presume that's needed when running the DD2 chargen demo?) 9.) Click 'Run'
Don't move the mouse. Let the tool do it's magic. Enjoy!
Whenever I try to run the auto slider, the program gets thru to the bottom of the body category correctly, but then it hits the reset body option and resets it back to default then it gets lost from there and backs out to the finalize menu.
Edit: Solved the issue. I didn't have default keybinds for keyboard menu inputs so when the auto slider tried to switch categories, the keylogger would press the default key, not my custom bound key. If your having this issue make sure your keybinds are all defaults on your keyboard settings, at least the menu ones. Kinda dumb on my part but just something easy to overlook if you're not familiar with keyloggers.
Hey Dev, can you please clarify which options are the intended defaults for each of the four categories? Because when I look at the output after selecting the default body and base head, I get dramatically different numbers in the automation starting point and end destinations that kinda makes this tool useless without that additional instruction.
Nevermind I saw you added the gif at the bottom of the page since the last time I downloaded this. Thank you for adding that, helped resolve the issue.

Great mod, thank you.
Hope this helps.
