hey fellas! glad to see familiar faces from Skyrim and BG3 communities. I can't promise complete UI reworks like it was for BG3, DD2 modding is pretty limited rn and I'm totally new to available tools (rsztool/101 editor or hex-editor), but will do my best to tidy up stuff a bit.
CHANGE LOG 1.1 - on request added better visible player marker on global map and made icons on minimap slightly more distinguishable - again nothing extra, I prefer as clean minimap as possible.
1.15 - added colorful icons to minimap. keep in mind tho, due to how minimap renders, non-b/w icons will be a jittery, even without contours I removed. 1.16 - fixed misleading broken riftstone icon (it looked like riftstone with a bag of gold).
1.2 - minimap addon update: added riftstone new icon, added colorful edge to arisen and pawns markers and removed weird chromatic shadow/outline for (N)orth.
I'm wondering if there's a guide on how to install this mod manually (no fluffly manager thing). I remember some mods for other capcom games having a natives folder where you could just drop paks to be loaded. I do not know if it would work here
try to investigate a bit before making conclusions, next time I will block for such tone.
mod works fine the latest game version. black screen may be cause by either outdated reframework or fluffy mod manager not managing paks properly. delete all re_chunk_000.pak.patch_00X files and verify with steam.
Okay sorry, I was just raging cus it was late at night and I had just finished reinstalling the game and wanted to play lol, thanks for the help I will try this.
"Better UI - Colorful MinimapIcons Addon 1.2" doesnt work for me. It works for the global map and 1.1 ver for minimap. I install both versions using Fluffy.
upd I fixed it, I didnt know in which order Fluffy runs mods, but reinstalling them following the instructions helped me.
This is a godsend for the player arrow alone! I have no idea why Capcom chose white for it. Makes it almost impossible to spot at a glance when looking at the map.
Any possibility of merging all of your UI overhauls into one .pak, uploading the loose files, or linking your source? I use damn near every one of your UI mods and would love to have one tab open right now instead of 50 XD
is this compatible with your Better UI - 16x9 and 16x10 HUD mod? I have the large minimap option installed and it doesn't seem to be applying the new icons
Love all your mods, and this is one is particularly nice for better UI readability.
Any chance you could do something about the MiniMap's chromatic aberration at the far edges that distorts Icons (mostly visible with the ghostly after-image on the N)
If you could remove the chromatic stuff from the pawn commands menu when using controller, that would be awesome! I love all your other mods for this reason exactly, no idea why they would have put chromatic aberration on the UI, such a strange decision.
