I’m an artist at heart, channeling my creativity through multiple mediums. but my true passion lies in enhancing the worlds of Bethesda’s games. From painting and drawing to digital design, I love exploring new ways to bring my imagination to life. This passion naturally led me to the Nexus, where I share my mods with fellow fans who are just as dedicated to immersing themselves in richly detailed game environments.
When I’m not fine-tuning my mod files, I’m often brainstorming new ideas based on requests from the community. My favorite part of modding is making the experience feel more immersive or nostalgic for others. wether that’s by unearthing hidden content, polishing existing features, or adding quality of life improvements that just make sense.
I also love hearing from fellow gamers and creators. Feel free to stop by my forum page or send me a private message if you have a suggestion for a future mod or simply want to chat. You can catch glimpses of my work and adventures in modding on my YouTube channel. If you’d like to connect more directly, join my community over on Mcdoyes Studio Discord. I’m always eager to discuss ideas, collaborate, or just share a laugh with friends who love these games as much as I do.
Over the years, I’ve poured my creativity into a variety of projects, including a stint on the development team for the ambitious “Fallout: The Frontier” mod. While I was initially excited to work alongside other talented artists and gamers, a leadership change within the team led to many of my contributions being scrapped. The new requests and deadlines just weren’t a good fit for me, so I asked that my work be pulled from the project. Despite that shift in direction, I have no hard feelings toward anyone on the team. it was an incredible experience stepping into the GECK to see the redevelopment process firsthand, and witnessing so many brilliant minds collaborate on such a grand scale was something I won’t soon forget. It’s unfortunate that the mod’s very first ever release was marred by the actions of one dumbass individual, overshadowing the dedicated work everyone else poured into it.
My creative journey in modding extends well beyond team collaborations. I’ve also embarked on several ambitious solo projects for the Fallout series. Over the years, I’ve enjoyed pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the GECK, reimagining classic titles with entirely new settings and stories:
Fallout: Sierra Leone
Envisioned as a bold departure from the desolate Mojave, this project aimed to replace the entire Fallout: New Vegas world with a lush, non irradiated jungle set in Sierra Leone. My goal was to blend new flora, fauna, and cultural elements to create a truly vibrant, alive environment, a stark contrast to the familiar wasteland.
Fallout: Ground Zero
In this rework of Fallout 3, I wanted to explore the pre-apocalypse era of Washington, D.C. Players would take on the role of a Vault Tec agent entrusted with a critical defense system keycard. The objective? Escape a city on the brink of nuclear ruin and deliver the keycard safely to Vault 590. It was an ambitious undertaking that involved reconstructing environments, altering quests, and telling a story leading up to the fateful day that would reshape the nation.
Fallout: Broken Hearts
A deeply narrative focused mod centering on Joshua Graham before his tragic downfall. This storyline would let players experience the events that led up to Joshua being burned by Caesar’s Legion, offering a chance to step into the shoes of the infamous “Burned Man” during the defining moments that set him on the path of legend.
Star Wars: Wounds of the Force
Inspired by the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II universe, I planned to replace the entirety of New Vegas with a Star Wars themed setting. The challenge involved a massive overhaul of assets, from planetary landscapes to weapons, characters, and factions all re-envisioned through the lens of KOTOR II.
Unfortunately as with many large scale passion projects, real life obligations and shifting interests led me to set these plans aside. While I never fully completed these endeavors, I saved much of the work and resources I developed. If anyone is interested in picking up where I left off to bring these worlds to life, I’d be more than happy to share what I have. After all, collaboration and community creativity are what make the modding scene so special.
Beyond my work with Fallout mods, I’ve also been diving back into The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. I’m currently in the process of overhauling the Greyland quest into an expansive, 10+ hour adventure. Rather than just the simple, straightforward quest fans remember, I’m transforming it into a branching storyline filled with new characters, lore, and gameplay mechanics. Expect deeper mysteries, tougher enemies, and meaningful decisions that will have lasting impacts on how the quest unfolds. My goal is to breathe fresh life into a classic Oblivion quest, offering both new and longtime players an experience that feels entirely new, yet still faithful to the game’s spirit.
Oblivion holds a special place in my heart. If someone asked me to choose between any Elder Scrolls title or even my beloved Fallout games, I’d still pick Oblivion every time. There’s just something about its world, its enchanting forests, sprawling quests, and timeless charm that keeps drawing me back. It’s the game that sparked my passion for modding in a truly immersive fantasy setting, and it continues to be my go-to source of inspiration whenever I dive into the Construction Set.
Id like to also announce that I’m aiming to release my first big Oblivion project sometime this summer.
I’ve developed a strong desire to compile a comprehensive guide covering scripting for Oblivion, Fallout: New Vegas, and Fallout 3, as well as working with 3D models in Blender and NifSkope. Over the years, I’ve discovered that accurate, up to date modding information can be remarkably difficult to find. In many cases, I’ve had to figure things out on my own sometimes investing 15+ hours in what could have taken 15 minutes if I’d had a proper step-by-step reference.
This challenge has especially hit home with custom animations, which remain a complicated puzzle I’m still working to solve. Through these guides, I want to provide the kind of resource I wish I’d had when I started, saving new modders from the frustration of endless trial and error. Ultimately, my hope is to share knowledge with anyone interested in creating their own mods, whether they’re just starting out or looking to refine their skills. After all, the heart of the modding community lies in collaboration and the free exchange of ideas; together we can ensure these games continue to grow and captivate players for years to come.
